:thumbsup2 Thats what we did... Id snag the ressie NOW and then let it go if not needed. you can book it under your DH if you have too. Just make sure you log out of your disney account and choose not to link it to your ressie. THen use his cell phone number(or different from what you have used on the other resses (diff name, number) then they will email you the confirmation) I would do that because if she doesnt get back to you today, it might be gone :scared:

I did exactly what you suggested! Thanks :goodvibes

Now, I have the Aloha ressie under my name -- will my aunt and family still be able to use it if I end up dropping it to 5 people so we can go to 1900 PF? We don't have to present I.D. or anything when we show up, right??? I can print out the conf. for them to take as added proof.

Wednesday Nov. 28th at 5:00pm. :goodvibes Very happy with it!!!

I LOVE the pictures. So sweet. :goodvibes

I agree with this. Whatever changes you are thinking about should be made now. I have been doing that very thing for the last 2 hours. I have made several changes including the CLP. I think it all works now. My one concern is BOG I have almost worked it out of my schedule. And the problem with that is I am truly happy witht he way things are lined up. :thumbsup2

My ohana is Thurs. Mu CLP is Wed..... I think I am happy with keeping BOG as a CS place this time I am not sure :scared:

I have a Standard View room at POR starting Nov. 23. Should I call to change to at least a Garden View to help with the FD or just wait till Thursday and see what happens.
thanks

I am not sure if you can or not. You CAN call dining and see if they can change the name.... or try to book another one under her name

I dont think it helps to have a GV room already. Lets say DIsney has 10 GV rooms for FDing. and 10 reg GV rooms. (20 all together) you have just as much a chance at snagging one of the 10 FDing rooms as anyone with a reg GV room. This is just an example for illustrating purposes.... not real numbers :lmao:... but I hope u understand:)

I'll wait and see what happens. I am still hopeful that I will get an ADR for BOG, after I have that finalized I will present our dining schedule to my aunt, at that time I will ask her about us ditching Aloha. I don't want her to know I've been changing our ressies around so much, haha. It's easier to just present a final plan.

I understand, thanks, planning on getting up early and calling in hopes of FD

Ok I need some help. I know you all are tired of my adr switching. I already had thes places reserved so no switching but just shuffling LOL Im trying to make room for BOG and if I dont-its CS for us-which is fine BUT I want to try and need opinions- here is what I have and the potential switches will be in red

Sunday
Via Napoli
Coral Reef

Monday
H&V breakfast
Mama Melroses Move 50's here which means we wait for F!
Sci-Fi

Tuesday
Tusker House
RFC
WCC BOG here

Wednesday
ohana
Garden Grill CLP

Thursday
Crystal Palace
CRT
Ohanas

Friday
1900PF
T-Rex
50's PT BOG or WCC here

Saturday
Akershus
Le Cellier
Cape May Cafe

Sunday
Chef Mickeys
CS BOG here

50's must stay and WCC must stay. MM is only there so I dont have to wait for F! But I may have to give that up:crowded:

Okay, what if you sit tight with your schedule the way it is. When BOG opens try first for your MVMCP, if that doesn't work go for the 50's spot and then you could move 50's to your MM spot. You'll have to wait for F! but you won't have to risk all the red sauce and it is your second choice, hopefully you'll get lucky with the MVMCP night. Plus when you try for it that night technically there will be less people going after it since they would need a ticket for the party...

Just a word of caution.......
I was just checking my online reservation statement. I had booked a Courtyard view at the WL. I guess with me adding the two exta days a day at a time. Somewhere in there it was changed to a Woods view. I'm so glad I caught it. Got it changed back and actually hoping for a Bear Face view room. pixiedust:

I know! At this point I'm sure the CM's I talk to think I am slow... but I always confirm that I have a theme park view at the Poly and that I'm requesting 3rd floor in the Tahiti building... And they always say it's there but I'm just so paranoid with my changes that I will lose it somehow...

I got Ohana's!!!!!!!!!!! :worship:party:party:

Clearly persistance pays off! So happy you got what you wanted!!:cool1: Is Ohana's where they bring the food around on long skewers and leave some at each table? I saw something like that on a food blog but forgot which restaurant it was served in.:confused3

I think this is a great idea! I also don't think going for CS is a bad thing either. I'm thinking people won't know it's open yet, (except of course DISers) so it may not be as crowded as we are thinking. Then again, that may just be wishful thinking.:rolleyes1

Doesn't hurt to keep checking. Especially if it isreally important to you. :goodvibes

That's awesome!

Thanks. :goodvibes
I just noticed that you have 2 trips in your near future. How exciting for you!! :thumbsup2

A co-worker just got back for Disney and returned to work today. He's been talking about it non-stop all morning. Boy do I have the fever now!!!:rotfl:

WELL I would sit tight on what I have BUT even if I move BOG to our MVMCP night, I have decided to ditch GFC anyway for Via Napoli I am so afraid that Coral reef will be delayed and by the time we get out of there itll be time to leave! OR I can do the unthinkable and LEAVE it alone to just do CS! I think I will go look over the menu again though:) I have read that I should ditch MM altogether... not sure if I should wait for F! or not. My other option is just skipping Le Cellier and doing VN :faint:

yes it is where they bring the food to the table. I am thinking CS wont be bad either... I will have to look over menus and then decide if we should give up MM. I just want that ticket! :lmao:

I always double check too... confirm I want the Oak Manor section of the RGR.

They were actually able to let us pick up our tickets early right at the Pop Century last year. Worked smooth as can be. All the resort computer system problems from 2010 paid off in a very smooth process in 2011.

That is great news! So much more helpful than schlepping to the parks for them!:thumbsup2

Ok, I know I've read about this on the Disboards before, but didn't need it then, so didn't take note:

We plan on upgrading our tickets from our Nov-Dec. free dining trip to annual passes since we are returning next May for our anniversary. And we hope to get another trip in next Oct-Nov 2013.

What is the best way to do that? Or can you direct me to the right place to find out?

Thanks so much!:thumbsup2

I know you got a link to give you lots of info. Just wanted to let you know that DH and I did this 2 years ago and it was so easy. We happened to be going to HS for the day and stopped in to Guest Services on our way out of the park. The CMs were so helpful and fun. They even double checked to make sure our dining was still on our KTTW card. I loved being able to say I was an AP holder!:rotfl: It's so great that you'll have so manny trips to look forward to!:cool1:

Slightly Goofy and hubby will be at Sports from November 25th thru December 1st.

Sure hope to see some of my old friends there.:flower3:

Much shorter trip there and back nowadays.:)

Slightly Goofy/Linda

Hey, I met you at AK a couple of years ago.:wave2: We were getting food at Flame Tree and we sat near each other and chatted. You gave me a LGMH with your website on it. You were looking at property on that trip. Glad you made it to your happy place!::yes:: Welcome to our thread!

I would love to do this! I think it would be so cool. Does anyone know how much it is?

$45 for a 25 minute ride. The carriage holds 4 adults or 2 adult and 3 sm children.

Just want to say how thankful I am that I already had free dining and didn't need to book it today.

My dd7 starting get sick last night and got sick about 12 times overnight. I took her to the ped. they sent her to the er...now we are in the picu. She is dehydrated. I can't imagine having the extra stress of trying to get free dining with all this going on.

Also thankful that she got this sick now and not the week after Thanksgiving!

How is your DD today? Hope she's a lot better!:flower3:

I KNOW this has been asked a thousand and 1 times BUT I cant find it.... are the Fantasmic seats worth doing the package OR not standing in a line to wait? I am still considering giving up the MM package to fit in BOG. I need to go look over the menu for BOG to see if I like it. I only found maybe 2 things we would eat but I know its the 'new restaurant' thing AND my dad is a HUGE fan of B&tB! I cant handle alot of red sauce so MM is not for me but not sure if everyone will appreciate the standing in line thing LOL
I have read that F! is a nice show and Id like to see it if we can but that being said, we arent usually stand and watch parade type ppl... if it passes in front of us, we will watch for a few minutes though

Not sure exactly when you're going, but there's a good chance they'll do two Fantasmics a night. Go to the later one, it's usually super quiet. It was when we went last year we literally sat in the center even showing up at the last minute and had amazing views! So far the TA calendar is showing Fantasmic every night so that should cut down on crowds. I'd definitely see it if you haven't and if it's at a slow time, it should be no waiting really.
