NOVEMBER 2012 Trip Planners Thread~ Everybody is Welcome~Part 3 already!

They were actually able to let us pick up our tickets early right at the Pop Century last year. Worked smooth as can be. All the resort computer system problems from 2010 paid off in a very smooth process in 2011.

Sweet. Hopefully OP of the question can do that and save all the hassle!

Ok, I know I've read about this on the Disboards before, but didn't need it then, so didn't take note:

We plan on upgrading our tickets from our Nov-Dec. free dining trip to annual passes since we are returning next May for our anniversary. And we hope to get another trip in next Oct-Nov 2013.

What is the best way to do that? Or can you direct me to the right place to find out?

OK so here is my plan (most days involve an afternoon nap/rest):

11/6 - arrival day
AOA - Little Mermaid
Swim, look around, etc.
Dinner - HDDR

11/7
MK (no nap day)
5:15pm - Crystal Palace

11/8

no reservations just going to pick our way around the Wine & Food Festival

Check in to Wilderness Lodge
HS (no Nap)
10:10 Hollywood and Vine

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Just confirmed our split stay with the TA, she will make all the changes on Thursday, once the FD is open to the public.

We are staying at Art of Animation (mermaid) for 11/7 and 11/8 (room only), then we are at POR from 11/9 to 11/13 with FD(package).

Saved a ton of money doing it that way.

I have never stayed at a Value and I am really looking forward to it. Never stayed at POR, so that it excting as well.

Didn't have to change a thing to my dining reservations.

I think you're looking good. The only thing I would be concerned about is park hours being shorter if you go back to your room for a nap, but I'm not sure what hours they're open until at that time of year.

Sure hope to see some of my old friends there.

Speaking of BOG.....What is everyone game plan if you have a few different spots BOG could fit into?

Well right now, I am not sure if I want to put it anywhere! The only place I CAN put it without dropping Ohana is our MVMCP night then I am thinking should we keep WCC? Not sure anymore I havent been looking because now that FDing is out, its gonna be crazy busy and all the ADR's will be gone so Im chillaxing It may have to stay a CS for us. I will *try* for our MVMCP night... might workout good that way if I can get it at the right time because we also *might* want to do the DP

ETA: I just went to look for the heck of it and I cant even get Sci-Fi on sun night for 6 ppl soooooo it looks like we are stuck with our schedule which is fine just means it was meant to be

Hi, All!
Wanted to join in...We're booked at Pop from Nov. 28-Dec. 8th. We upgraded from free quick service dining to the regular dining plan and are looking forward to yummy Disney food

Our cast includes Mom (me) Dad, DS12 and DD9

We're going to MVMCP onThursday, Nov. 29th.

Boy, I have a lot of reading to catch up on.

I have four possible dates I can do BOG. I'll shoot for my first choice and go on down the list if it is not available. I have them listed and ready to go when I call.

ETA: And I'll start trying to call a minute or two before 7 and keep calling. That's all you can do, right? Plus, I'll have my laptop open and on the Disney website in case online ressies are available. That's actually what I'm hoping for!

Gosh with all the FD reservations now and still to come this week, I am so happy that I finally have my ressies all set and reserved with the exception of BOG which I hope to get a dinner ressie for on Thanksgiving with a little luck. I would be so scared if I had to try and plan our dining now. That would be so hard and next to impossible I think.

so basically you have 2 days at both Epcot and MK, thats how many I have planned about the T-Rex ressie, did you try calling them? Thats how I got my ressie

That's how I am. I was going to try booking once we got a package set, but I realized that would be a big mistake. Don't get me wrong, I'm super glad people are getting FD! I just want my ADRs

We are staying at POFQ from 11/24 through 12/2 and will be attending MVMCP on 11/29.

BTW, not sure if this 100% correct, but I just got off the phone with a CM to make a reservation for a larger group and he told me that ADRs will be on Aug 4th and the opening date is in September.

I hope this is true!

I just got the Yak and Yeti worked into my ADR schedule. Now I'm just missing BOG and Ohanas.

I don't know how I'm going to fit BOG in if I get an ADR. Somehow, we'll find time!

I haven't. I was looking at the sleigh ride around ft wilderness though to see all the camp site's individual decorations!!!

I would love to do this! I think it would be so cool. Does anyone know how much it is?

I totally understand!! That is the one thing that is the hardest to get and then once you do, you tend to second guess yourself and the plan you have tried to put into action by messing with it. That's why I had it 98% together when I added our extra day and when I couldn't get the ressie I wanted and realized I probably never would I researched as quickly as I could and made a ADR to a place I know we will love! I am excited to try Jiko and explore AKL which BTW, we have never been to, if you can believe that. I am so excited for this trip you have no idea, its been so long for us and so much has changed now. My kids are now 23 and 15 hard to believe the last time we were there, they were kids.

Yes sometimes we have to let the men have a "little say in things" too! lol!! My DH just lets me do my thing because it all seems to work out in the end. He is pretty agreeable to most things anyway.
