Messed with ADRs again last night - MUCH happier with these!

Moved Narcoossee to our arrival night - planning on Wishes from the GF dock at 8pm and then we have an 8:50 ADR. Hoping to catch the EWP from a window table when it comes through around 9:15.

Moved Boma to our MVMCP night instead of 1900 Park Fare. That way we'll have a much longer rest period midday since we won't have to leave our hotel at 3:45 to make a 5:00 ADR over at the GF. It will be less rushed that way!

Moved our Cape May Cafe a bit later - to 7:05 - so that we are certain to make it after the 5pm Candlelight Processional.

Fit in Earl of Sandwich on our resort day! Planning on heading there for lunch and taking the boat over to POR/POFQ to see the resorts and snag some beignets.

Moved the California Grill to 5:30 on our Wishes Dessert Party night. We'll see the sunset and the Castle lighting from the CG and then have about a 3.5 hour break before the dessert party.

Moved Raglan Road earlier - to 7pm - so that we'll have time to shop after dinner before the stores all close.

Cancelled Crystal Palace and booked 1900 Park Fare on our departure day for dinner. 1900 Park Fare at 4:55, MSEP at 7pm, and Wishes at 8pm.

One day on here and I already added a day to our trip! We decided to come in on the evening of the 9th that way we have the full day on the 10th and aren't exhausted from flying at the crack of dawn. We also changed our resort to All Star Music so that we could just get a standard room. SO...ultimately changing resorts, adding a day, and changing our fight saved us $100!! Woo woo!

Being around us for just one day did all of that? Thats awesome!! :rotfl:

Wow! I'm glad you were able to get the times that you wanted with everything. I'm really amazed at what is still available out there. Even the WL still has free dining rooms with every catagory. That one really shocks me.

Got to see the babies today! They are so tiny. Also got to see my sister in law. Still in ICU, but will be moving up to the maternity ward this afternoon!

Awww.... I am so happy for all of you. I know what a scary time this has been for all of you. It happened to my sister. It took awhile but they both recovered and are in excellent health today. :goodvibes

I know Magical Vacations Travel has a Thanksgiving week discount going on. It's at the GF, Poly, and AoA so maybe give them a try? But seconding AAA sometimes you can get a 10-20% off room rates with them!

Awesome, thanks for the tip, I will check them out.

Well, since ya'll haven't been so chatty today :upsidedow (I know, better things to do and all that.:rotfl:)...... I was just in the Disney site playing around with upgrading our reservation at the WL. I really, really want the CL level. It is still available with free dining. But since we already have added the Deluxe Dining plan this just pushes the cost to far over the top. The trip would be over $6300 for 2 people for 9 days. Yeah.......not going there. But anyway, the live chat popped up. So I told him that I was thinking about upgrading us from courtyard view and that we already have the DDP. He said unless we were going to spend alot of time at the resort it may not be worth it to us. I told him that I appreciated his honesty. He asked if he could be of any further help and I asked if he knew when BOG would open. He said it is supposed to be PRIOR to Thanksgiving. And to keep checking back. I know we have to take all of this with a grain of salt.....................But I sure hope this has some merit to it. :goodvibes

I really want to upgrade to a deluxe. We will be spending time just at the resort. It's $1500 more, and that is way more than our budget :( I hope if I hold out until october maybe it will drop drastically.

Maybe a good room discount will come out for you. :thumbsup2 I do hope so. I'm really very happy with our current reservation. Its just that the CL level of the WL keeps staring me in the face. And whispering my name. :rotfl:

Hooray! So glad she's doing better - how scary for everyone! I was admitted to L&D at 37 weeks with my daughter due to HELLP syndrome - my BP was 285/210 when I was admitted. I was put on mag sulfate ASAP and thankfully never began seizing. Labs did show that both my kidneys and liver were starting to shut down. I was induced the next morning after my BP was controlled and after that - everything was normal. It's a VERY scary thing!

I know! I keep looking at the free dining rooms still left at AKL and dreaming... We are doing 2 nights before our FD packages starts at CSR but I'd LOVE to be there the entire time!! An extra $1100 isn't in the budget though! I'm shocked I could move things around too - and at the exact times I wanted!!

If we get the FD can you get a room discount?

No, can't combine discounts. You have to choose which you want - which saves you the most. Depending on your family size and what resort you are staying at and how much the discount is - just gotta weigh your options!

Where are you staying?
How many people? Ages of kids?
Are you upgrading your dining plan? Would you get the same dining plan if you didn't get 'free' dining or upgrade the plan?

The similar thing that happened to my SIL happened to my mom when I was born, and my twin died. I had preeclampsia, and glad I caught it when I did. I was so happy that I still had my natural birth. She looks pretty good still a bit swollen, but not as bad I as I would have expected it.

So glad everything is okay with the twins and Mom. Great names!! I gave birth to my daughter at 28 weeks. So scary, we had so many ups and downs and she spent 8 weeks in the hospintal. Thank God we have a level 4 NICU only 15 minutes away. But, everything turned out great and she is turning 9 in September. Except for the IV scars in her hands and feet (they look like pin pricks) you wouldn't know she had such a hard beginning.

We are staying at CBR. We have 4 people. myself, DH, 16 year old exchange student/DD, and our DD2.
Our dining plan is just the normal 1 TS. No need to upgrade dining plan. If we didn't get free dining I may just not eat at Disney. I can get so many meals off of Restaurant dot coms site for fairly cheap. Just eat a CS meal for lunch while at the park.

My question is what makes BOG so special?? Just because it is new?? I keep seeing threads and questions on it, and it has made me wonder if I have missed something.

i spoke to some cm today and they said they have no info, but the plan is for by thanksgiving to be open, and adr open up end of august so its basicaly 30 days after that it should open so hopefully it opens in november, if not im switching to december, dont really want too, but I dont want to miss it
