Good morning!

We finally bought our airfare yesterday since we caught a sale. It's exciting to feel this vacation become more and more real!

So here are our plans:

Friday - arrive, check in, DTD, eat at EOS
Saturday - Resort day, breakfast at 'Ohana, dinner at CM
Sunday - DHS, lunch at 50's
Monday - MK, early dinner at LTT
Tuesday - Resort day and MVMCP, no ADRs this day
Wednesday - Resort day, breakfast at 1900PF, dinner at 1900 PF again
Thursday - Epcot, dinner at VN
Friday - AK, pre-rope drop breakfast at TH
Saturday - departure day

What do you all think? I'm pretty happy with them. I had to be very mindful of menus because my DS is a picky eater and now that he is considered a Disney adult, I had to choose restaurants that had adult meals he would eat. On that note, last time we went to EOS, my DS was still on the kids menu and got the pizza sub. He loved it, says it was the best one he's ever eaten, etc. I don't see a pizza sub on the adult menu. Does anyone know will he be able to order one anyway?

Mommyof3 could you change our arrival date on the first page to show our extra day? We will be there from 11/23 to 12/1 instead of 11/24. Oh and we are going to MVMCP on 11/27. (We haven't bought our tickets yet, but that's the plan.) Thanks!

I know Planet Hollywood isn't unique to Disney, but I'm surprised that I haven't seen a SINGLE person say they are going there. Is it subpar food and service? My hubby is a huge Hard Rock fan and I thought this would be along the same lines.

Our thought is to go to places we can only find a Disney, but if your family likes Planet Hollywood, I say go for it!

I saw the voucher before BUT much rather go to any other place... I wonder if you can use the souviner voucher if you dont eat there?

Good Evening Everyone, and TGIF!!

I had a busy day with work, but alas I'm finally done and now the weekend's here! Yay!! Monday my daughter Rachel who is 15 is traveling down by herself to see her sister in Pensacola. We are driving her to BWI and will obtain a gate ticket so we can assure she gets on the right flight. She changes planes in Atlanta- she has traveled alot and knows the ATL airport very well. She is a mature and seasoned traveler but I am still really nervous about it. When she flys back my daughter will be with her as they are flying back together- so really its just one way down. I am hoping all goes well. My daughter Sarah is meeting her in Pensacola at the gate. She is so excited to see her sister as she only gets to see her a few times a year. I miss her alot too and am looking forward to having her come home for a few weeks. We are going to Busch Gardens Williamsburg for a week when they get home- and we're looking forward to that. After that, its saving for our next trip to WDW!! We can't wait.

I would be nervous too, but I take it she made it fine. It's good experience for her and helps build her confidence. That was always important to me...that my kids have the confidence to fly (in life, not a plane) Sounds like a lot of fun planned when they get home too.

we had a Disney family movie night tonight. It was so fun. We watched Lady and the Tramp. We decorated and made signs for tonys, had spaghetti and meatballs. The kids loved it so much and they got so excited when they saw Tonys on the movie...sooo now that I have all my ADRs set, I'm kinda wanting to drop one for Tony's ....how silly is that?

Not silly at all! I love Tony's! I'm in Virginia right now at my daughter's house and when we head back to Ohio, the grandkids are coming with us for a week. I totally plan to steal your idea for Lady and the Tramp night with spaghetti!!! They'll love it!

Hey! Just in case you are missing me I wanted to let you know that I have company from overseas coming in tomorrow and staying for a week so I won't be able to obsessively check in. I will miss you but I will be back! Who knows, maybe I'll be able to squeeze in some visits here and there, you might not ever even know I was gone! Happy Planning!

Good Morning everyone!!

Finally awoke to a beautiful morning outside!! It has been gray, rainy, and quite dreary the last few days!! Temps are nice and cool as well Trying to decide on photopass + and whether or not it is worth the added expense. I could just get the photopass card in the park and get the pictures when I get home but then I wonder if that would cost more??? I also will be getting our airfare within the next 2- 2 1/2 weeks so I need to continue saving for that. Perhaps I should just wait....on another note, Rachel leaves tomorrow for Pensacola to see her sister and I am nervous for her flying by herself but she is a seasoned traveler and I know she will be just fine. Its just the mother in me as she's only 15. We will get a gate pass to go with her and see she gets on the right flight, then its just Atlanta to worry about- but she knows that airport well so I think she will be just fine. She has strict orders to call me once she lands so I can tell her which gate to go to. Her sister will be waiting for her once she lands in Pensacola. Then in 2 weeks they will fly home together. Yay for me I get to see both my girls!!

Seems as if everyones plans are coming together nicely. I still haven't been able to get a ressie at Chef Mickeys for breakfast on 15th--and we might just have to skip it if I can't get one. I will be so sad....that is a main stay for us each time. Well hope everyone has a great day!!
