I think I loved AKL even more than WL, Bomas has best breakfast buffet onsite IMO and the photo op's at AKL are just incredible if only it was not all bus transport now that I need to use an ECV I would stay there in a heartbeat! I have been checking CR constantly for my dates so do not feel bad

Thank you for the AKL review.:goodvibes I have heard so many good things about this place. And DH and I have visited it and eaten at Boma's. (we enjoyed it.) The place is just beautiful. But the bus only transportation puts a damper on it for us as well. We love the boat option at the WL. Coming back at night on the boat is just so relaxing. But other than that .... I don't know if I can explain it. Hubby has a very pressure filled job and when we walk into the WL you can just see him relax. You see it in his shoulders, his face, the tone of his voice even. I guess this is what I am afraid of walking away from. We just find it peaceful there. Now that I see this in writing.... I guess I have answered my own question.
Thanks sjs314!!

I really do hope that you find what you are looking for as well. :goodvibes

Thanks everyone! It's not totally off the table. We talked to my mom, who definitely wants to go. So we are exploring the possibility of 2 mod rooms, preferably CSR (the pics looks awesome), with the idea that one of the kids (or both lol) would stay with her so we won't be so crowded. Staying in a room at CSR will definitely save us money, probably around $800-900. It all depends on flight prices. Seems like the airlines have caught onto Jersey week and are jacking their prices. And I am still nervous to stretch our finances thin before Christmas. So if flights are too much, then we will definitely do spring 2013. Probably right after the Easter crowds clear. What is everyone's experience on crowds in early Nov? We'd be arriving Nov 1 and leaving Nov 6.

Did anybody else see that BOG is going to be 2 credits for lunch and dinner. Lunch will be 2 counter service credits and dinner will be 2 sit down. I saw this on FB. Can anybody confirm? :confused3

That BOG blog post from awhile back mentioned it being a great value and a CS credit for lunch and a TS credit for dinner. I sure hope it isn't going to be 2 because we will have to skip it.

What on Earth. I've never heard of a 2 counter service meal! I sure hope not, we wanted to go in for lunch one day. :guilty:

Oof... they sure make the credits confusing! I'm still sad we don't have free dining but it is also nice not having to worry about #s of credits! :confused3

So for me on the DxDP- 2 CS credits IS 2 TS credits sooooo its sooo expensive there for lunch! Oh well if it is 2, we can try Pecos Bill! or CHH

I don't have facebook so that link didn't work for me.

So it really is 2 credits for both lunch and supper? Wow!! Was that the big announcement for today?:confused3

WL was Bobs favorite resort until we stayed at BWI, boy was I shocked ! AKL gives you that same feeling of being in another world just like WL does, I know Bob would love it too ( I stayed there with a friend) or at least I think he would but he is sticking to wanting BWI again this trip

I moved it but ill tell them that they need to be in EPCOT AT 1!!!!

I think you made a smart choice! We all know that a 1:30 ressie doesn't mean you'll get seated at that time. :rolleyes1

I know exactly what you mean about WL. We really enjoyed it last September. And at Christmas, just WOW! We feel the same way about POFQ. It is very peaceful and walking along the river is a great way to relax after a rushed day. Or the boat to DTD serves the same purpose. There's just something about getting places by boat that appeals to me. (and considering I have a fear of the water, that's a bit remarkable!)

Guess the big announcement won't be today. I sincerely hope BOG isn't a 2 credit dining experience!:scared1: I highly doubt it will be. Let's use that pixie dust ladies!pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

Seems like this whole 2 credit thing may be wrong. Guess we'll find out in days to come.

But if its 2...I'm totally skipping it.

Here is another wrench in my happy plans...... I had diner scheduled at 7:45 thinking thats 2 hours away well I learned that it might take 40min for the show then 45min to get out of the theater, 30 min to walk to the front we are at 7pm right now then 40 to go from monorail to TTC and switch monorails so we make it to GF at 740! GRRR I changed dinner to 8:15. THis transportation thing plus my bathroom issues is making this CLP a pain.... I dont want to skip it but its not making me happy at the moment!

Wow, 45 minutes to get out of the theatre seems like an absolute worst case scenario... it wasn't any more difficult for us than leaving a crowded movie theatre... maybe 10 minutes at most! :scared1:

Another WL lover!!! :grouphug:

I have a feeling this info is not correct as well. I have enough credits left to make it work. But....WOW!! Thats big for a CS.
