Also I have a question for those that use Disney buses instead of a car how long on average does it take you to get back to your hotel from a theme park after the park has closed? Just wanting to make sure we have left enough time to get to Ohana's after we leave Animal Kingdom as we want to go back to our hotel first before we go to dinner.

You could try asking on the transportation board. I am pretty sure someone there will know.

Another option might be ourlaughingplace or mylaughingplace (can't remember!). It is a website that has travel times for getting around WDW, but I've seen some mention that it isn't too accurate.

Booked our 1 night stay at AoA! So, if Southwest only works out for the 5th, we'll have a place to stay. Guess I'll know on Monday!

So now that my resort is booked, dining ressies have been made, & I was lucky enough to get FD I don't know what to do w/ myself I do know that as excited as my family is to go back to WDW, if I talk about the plans I've made for us one more time someone is gonna sew my mouth shut

We're doing our first split stay this year, and it's a three way split, too! I bought a boatload of packing cubes, thinking that might make the packing and unpacking easier. I'll definitely need to pack strategically... Have you got any good tips?

What was it like doing split stays? I've been thinking about doing a deluxe for our last night or two for our actual anniversary day and next night. This is my first year on property, and we're staying at POR, and I also wonder how this works with dining plan.

Got the FD!! My Mom is going with us, so I decided to call & see if she had a PIN code attached to her name... Well she did!! 11/9-11/18 @ Pop with the upgrade to plus dining. We're considering upgrading to a suite at AoA, but we shall see.

Now we just have to hope DH makes it home from deployment in time. Fingers crossed!

Start a PTR...thats the best way to sort out everything in writing and share the fun with others.

What was it like doing split stays? I've been thinking about doing a deluxe for our last night or two for our actual anniversary day and next night. This is my first year on property, and we're staying at POR, and I also wonder how this works with dining plan.

Your dining will end on midnight of the day you check out of your package resort, so anything after that is OOP. Or you could add dining to the next resort stay, but you would also have to buy a one day ticket. If you quailified for free dining, you would have to stay 3 nights minimum and 2 day tickets.

I feel the exact same way! All I have done is eat, sleep, and talk Disney for the last few weeks building up to being able to make my ADRs...its sad when your 6 & 7 year old tell you they are tired of hearing about it They are really excited about the trip but tired of hearing where we are eating and when

Mine was for the AoA but we arent staying there. The black out dates DID include Jersey week but here are the INCLUDED dates
10/19-11/1; 11/9-11/15; 11/23-11/29

Yes, we are staying at AoA 11/24-12/1 with Free quick service dining, but I paid to upgrade dining which was still cheaper than upgrading to moderate resort.

Mine are too especially since I have to okay everything with 11 ppl..... now everyone says whatever you want. But then it has me feeling like well what if they dont like it Then the sane mommyof3 takes over and I say 'so what if they dont like it, they should have had an opinion when I asked them!' The only excited person is my brothers new GF cuz shes never been and of course my mom now lol
