Received a pin yesterday BUT not FD it was for 20% off room. It saved a little over $300. I also received an email from a site I subscribed to and there was an article from AnonyMOUSE that suggests FD will be coming next month when Disney increases ticket prices and the current promo expires. Hoping this rumor is true!!!! A $300 savings is good BUT a $1500+ savings deserves some

So I tried to get creative. I just called and spoke to a very friendly CM, told him today is my birthday (which is true) and he would totally make my day if he could let me know a FD code was attached to my account! He giggled, wished me a very Happy Birthday and told me no. Oh well it was worth a try!!

I had a 20% pin in 2011 and staying Deluxe since there is just DH & I works about the same as FD

Now if Disney would just be nice and send me a pin.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I got the FD pin yesterday which saved us over a grand. I just got the FD pin again this morning. This time it was under my wife's name. I am one of those people who goes every year and never gets good pins. There is hope for those who have not gotten it yet!!!!!!!

Yes, we are also waiting to book our november flights and I am not very patient. Let's hope they are released very soon!

Okay, I have a question.. I've already booked and paid the deposit for our trip in Nov/Dec. Does that mean we are locked in for the current ticket prices even if they DO go up?

Also, I'm obviously hoping to get the free dining.. does that mean that we have to give up our current reservations and start all over again with rebooking so as to include the FD? If so, I guess I then pay the currently offered rates for tickets.. which is fine, of course. I'm just wondering how all of that works????

Oh, and one more thing... if I've made some "hard to get" ARDs when the FD is offered, do I lose them and hope to get them again, or will they travel with me to the newly booked reservations that have the FD attached??

WOW.... 2 pins in 2 days!!!! I am on just called Disney Reservations and received a FD pin. I have been trying this whole week and finally today they found a FD pin for our family. I really think its all about the CM you talk to. The one thismorning just seemed to be having a GREAT day and ENJOYING his job. For those of you searching for the elusive FD pin, be persistant in finding one and also let them know what you are looking for. Not just any ole pin the FD PIN!!! GOOD LUCK

That is hard to say. The fine print on your reservation states they can change the total price due to price increases up to the point before you make the final payment. It is rare for them to do that though. However, if say 2 months from now you get a PIN or a promo where they have to alter your reservation, they might implement the newer ticket prices

Dear DIS peeps,

I see many of you have received the infamous FD pin...congrats. I make my ADRs in 6 days and was hoping that you all could not take the ressies I was hoping for......I'm begging you

hahah j/k!! Jealousy over here!! Since I started looking at this thread in March, this is what almost everyone has been waiting for. I am happy to see that coming to fruition for so many of you

I am hoping to be lucky enough to receive a pin too so that I can take a bit of a Disney planning break. It's starting to feel like a job...a wonderful job, but a job just the same

It actually seems to have worked that way for some. Good Luck
