So instead of trying to loose weight, you should be trying to add inches.:lmao:
I wish I could add inches!!!

I like this theory!! It's not that I'm Pooh sized that is the problem it's my gnome-like height that is the problem.
I've been having the same problem about the DIS being slow. When it is, I shut down the Internet Explorer and re-open it. When I do that, the DIS seems to go at a normal speed.

This is exactly what I was planning on doing. Hopefully, they will give us more information before our 180+ out days.

Honestly, it's more of a pain than anything. Traffic is terrible and we don't leave the house unless we have no other option.

Well, I'm not going out. I'm not allowed to do anything, per doctor's orders. I have really bad high blood pressure that has not been controlled since 1. my doctor closed his practice and became a hospitalist and 2. my DH lost his job and with it our health insurance. Well I finally found a doctor that doesn't take insurance and I really liked him. When he took my blood pressure the first time I was standing up and it was 205/130. He honestly told me that if I had insurance, he would send me to the ER and they would admit me for a couple of day. Since I don't have insurance, they would just give me a pill and send me home. Then he took my blood pressure while I was sitting down and it was only 160/115. Next was the blood work, and it was a good thing he didn't take my blood pressure at this point. This guy was so amazing I wanted to hug and kiss him. It's usually hard enough to get blood out of my arm with a butterfly needle. This doctor got it in my hand, with one stick, and it just hurt a little. He did an EKG, which he didn't charge me for (should have been an additional $40). When he looked at the EKG he said, "well you haven't done any damage to your heart yet". He is going to be in the office for about an hour tomorrow and wants to see me to check my blood pressure. He sent me to a pharmacy down the road to pick up 2 meds. All together, we only spent $99 ($35 for office visit, $50 for blood work, $14 for meds). The doctor doesn't want me doinig anything until he can see me tomorrow. Then once my blood pressure is stable, he wants me to walk 45 minutes a day 3 times a week.

A it sucks not having insurance but I didnt either for the last 10 yrs of our marriage. I hope you are ok. My DH/and my dad had high blood pressure and your dr is right, exercise is the key with a healthy diet. Maybe in a few months, you can get off of the meds. GL today and plz let us know. Ill be thinking about you!!!

Ha ha! At least you didn't have to spend your Friday evening sitting in a dimly lit skating rink, reading a book, supervising your daughter so she could skate with her little boyfriend. NOT so much fun. DH was working a football game. We're very boring, but we like it!

LOL I KNOW we are boring-its okay though:love:

:scared1: ACK! Take care of yourself. I have a terrible fear of doctors (ironic since I'm an LPN) and haven't been to one since I had to for nursing school in 2004. My BP was high then (and at repeated visits to check it). That doctor left to go teach or something and I didn't go anywhere else. I know I should as I don't want to kill myself with high BP, but I'm WAY too chicken. :guilty::sad2: I hope you get yours under control.

I hope we get more info about Be Our Guest before our 180+ days as well, but frankly, I'd be excited if it just was opening and maybe taking walk-ups or something, or even just doing a test night......yeah, I'm pretty desperate for it! :rolleyes1

I would love it. I remember when I was little my dad would watch my B&TB movie by himself. He  it! It wouls be a neat treat to suprise him with

Yes, I could definitely see living so close to a NASCAR track as being a big :headache:

If any of you could spare any prayers or just positive thoughts for my DS20. He's going for his oral test and last flight to get his private pilot license. He is so smart and KNOWS this stuff and is a great pilot, but his nerves are really getting to him and they have ruined things for him before. I hope he keeps his cool because then he'll have no problems. Hopefully, I'll have good news to share tomorrow.

Good night! :cloud9:

Yes of course! I will be praying for your DS20!!!! I have bad nerves too! ACK! Here is some pixiedust:

Good morning ya'll. :goodvibes The Dis seems to be back to normal. :yay: I actually made a payment on next years trip yesterday. :woohoo: That counts towards planning right?

I just skimed back a little. To everyone that is not feeling well I hope today is much better for you.

Watching The Baltimore Under Armour Marathon today-hope to be doing a half marathon next year...even if I walk the majority of it:)

A very Happy 9th Anniversary to you and your DH!! Where are you going? I hope you have lots of fun.

Has anyone ever done the Candlelight Processional? I'd love to hear about it if you have. One specific question I have about it is: Can you use your DP credits for it? If so, would it one credit or two? It says the cost of it includes your meal. So if you can use the DP credit(s), do you pay an additional fee, too? Not even sure I'm asking this right, but if you managed to understand what I'm asking, I'd appreciate any insight. Thanks!

Have a super Friday evening!

I found some really great information about the Candlelight Processional on the allears.net sight. http://allears.net/tp/h_cpfaq.htm I think it will answer all of your questions much better than I could. I have to say, I am considering doing the package, although it would mean another 2 credit meal. Going to have to give it some thought. I know my MIL would love it.

Thank you! DH surprised me with reservations at very nice local Italian restaurant. Every course was better than the previous, and it was amazing. Our waitress and the rest of the staff were incredible, and surprised us with a dessert tray that had "to 99 more" in chocolate sauce with a raspberry glaze heart. It was a much more expensive restaurant than we usually go to, but such a wonderful treat... and totally worth it!!

Ok so its Friday night, and Im home, every time I check FB, everybody's status's say they are going out......Im not:/ Never do lol and it stinks!!!!!!! lol Anyway, in 2 weeks is our anniversary (11ys) and THAT is our date night :)

We try to have a date night about once a month, but that doesn't always work out. The only people I allow to watch the kids are my parents, aunt, or MIL. We stay at home a lot, but as the kids are getting older, we seem to be busier on the weekends... birthday parties, Girl Scout outings, etc.

I hope you start feeling better. :grouphug: Please keep us informed.

Good night! :cloud9:

I see my future in your post. Sitting around waiting while DD is doing something with her friends/boyfriends. Ugh... I'm not looking forward to those years.

I'm feel the same about the Be Our Guest restaurant!! :goodvibes And I'm hoping they don't make it a 2 credit meal on the DP.

Good luck to your son today. I'll say a prayer for him. :littleangel: Please let us know when you find out something.

It absolutely counts!! :woohoo:

Watching The Baltimore Under Armour Marathon today-hope to be doing a half marathon next year...even if I walk the majority of it:)

Me too! :thumbsup2 Not the watching part, but the participating part!

This morning DH is installing my new front loading washer and dryer. My old ones have seen their last day. I bought them 18 years ago when I moved out of my parents house. I went to the local appliance store and asked for the cheapest washer/dryer set they had. Who knew I'd have them for 18 years or that I'd marry someone who was a "MR FIX ANYTHING THAT BREAKS!" :confused3 I finally asked DH not to fix them the next time they broke. Well, they broke and I got a new set! I guess that is my anniversary present, but I'm ok with that. Guess I'll be doing :laundy: all day!

Hope everyone has a great weekend. :) I'm off to pick up my babies! I enjoy date nights, but I miss them so much. I haven't seen them in 24 hours, and I'm getting a little antsy.

Good morning all!

No word from DS yet. Praying and keeping fingers crossed. And THANKS for the pixie dust! Dinner plans are to go out and celebrate (he doesn't know), so hopefully all goes well.

Has anyone ever done the Magic Behind Our Steam Trains tour? We never have, but I think we're going to go for it next year! Sounds fun.

How about the Candlelight Processional? Very interested to hear about that.

And, also, one more. Has anyone ever gone up in that big balloon at DTD? We're planning on it. I have to admit, I'm chicken about it, but can't wait for that view of WDW!

Happy Saturday! :goodvibes

:cool1::dance3::cheer2::rotfl::cool2:Yayyyyy! He got it!!!! He did great! We're so proud of him. Thank you for your prayers. I know they helped! :little angel:

Happy Mom- I'm not sure how I missed your post earlier. Thanks for the info on the Candlelight Processional. I'll check it out as soon as I post this. Ah, 2 TS credits, huh? I figured as much. I'm glad you had a nice anniversary. Sounds great. That dessert sounds adorable AND yummy.

After being there last night, I really think I could have just dropped her off for a few hours. But I had never been there before. It's pretty new. I really thought it would be crowded being a Friday night, but it wasn't. OTOH she's TWELVE and my baby girl, so.......:rolleyes1

Oh, goodness, 2TS for Be Our Guest? I hadn't even thought of that possibility.

Have a good evening! :flower3:

CONGRATULATIONS!!! :cheer2::cheer2: That is awesome!! :dance3: :cool1: Hope y'all have a wonderful dinner to celebrate!!

I understand. I'm not sure I would be able to leave my DD either. Better safe than sorry.

Have a great night!! :cheer2:

_________

Everyone's been saying the boards were slow. I thought it was my computer so had DH do whatever it is he does to computers to make them faster. :rotfl: Oh well, now is "fast, fast" as my DS says.

Well, I guess DH didn't measure correctly when he was looking at the washer and dryers because they didn't fit the laundry room the way we thought they would. We put them in another way, and I'm not thrilled with it, but it will have to do. Now we have to buy a new shelving unit because our other one won't work in there now. The LSU vs TN game is on so I offered to make the run to Home Depot.

Y'all have a great night!!

So I wasnt feeling the exercise thing today....I was feeling tired and yucky. So with the support of my fitness pal weightloss friends, they said (not to sound corny) 'Just Do It' so I got up and suffered through a 40 min cardio session. I feel great!!! Hope everyone has a great day! Im gonna try to work on disney stuff today. I have some ideas and now that my small trip schedule is jam packed with fun things, I can work on the BIG trip. I wanna make this trip great! I was showing mom the MVMCP videos on youtube and she is sooooo excited! I wanna see if any party is scheduled for the Wednesday we are there. Id  to take my grandma and pop pop with us. They would love it!!! Maybe do the dessert party too!!!!! Its alot of moola but they have helped me so much when we baught our first house that now when I can afford too, I want to thank them :)

Discounts for Nov 2012 have not been released yet. I'm not sure if they will be posted on the 1st page or not.

Kids grow up too fast these days. If your DD wants to go to the BBB, and you have the money, by all means let her. :goodvibes
