we received a 20% off room pin code for nov and I don't know if I should book now or not. I can't for the life of me figure out where to put a pin code online to play with numbers. I would by far prefer free dining or for them to extend the 40% military discount UGH I don't know what to doooooooo

If you're planning on going at that time, I would book but try to remain flexible so that you can rebook to take advantage of a better promotion.

A 20% discount is better than paying rack rate if for some reason a better discount doesn't come along!

Woohoo, just booked Art of Animation Resort for November!! Also changed reservation to the second week in November since crowd levels look lower. So, we are now staying at Art of Animation November 9-20.

Well, I have hit a roadblock when it comes to planning the trip, which is unusual as after doing 2 trips over the past three years without any major issue, I thought this one should be a piece of cake.

The problem is, there are too many unknowns yet to be finalized or even announced. We will be there Weds the 7th thru Tues the 13th, and the only day I know so far is the 7th, we will do EPCOT after hitting the hotel

The reason I am so unsure is things like:

• Will Fantasmic be nightly?
• When will the Osborne Lights Start
• When will the MVMCPs start and what nights are they going during our visit
• Do I want to do 1 party or 2 (more of a personal decision, but it also will be determined if there are multiples during our stay)
• Will any of the Gingerbread Houses be done to warrant side trips to other resorts?

So far it looks like:

• Wednesday the 7th - Epcot, no rest. chosen yet
• Thursday the 8th
• Friday the 9th
• Saturday the 10th
• Sunday the 11th
• Monday the 12th
• Tuesday the 13th - No park but might go check out some other resorts pending our flight time

Take deep breath and relax. Try not to over plan. I did that back in 2006 when DS9 was 4 and had us constantly on the go with no down time at all. I regret that now. So DH and I are making sure to have 2 days down time this year and I promised him that I would not over book us with DDP ressies, lol

Hi all.
Now, I know quite a number of us will be attending MVMCP this winter. What about CP at Epcot? We did it twice before and both times, we made sure to have a CP lunch or dinner package so we could get preferred seating. Do any of you do the same? Your thoughts on CP at Epcot?

We've never seen CP before, but we're planning to the last evening of this trip. So excited about finally seeing it! Watched some YouTube videos and it looks fabulous! We're definitely planning on doing the package. Do you have any tips about CP for me? We've never done MVMCP either. If we arrive on Thursday, 11/15, we'd be able to see it, but I would least want to see in on a Friday. It's not available at all Thanksgiving week...

I am FREAKING OUT!! I have lost ALL of my Disney stuff... itinerary, ADR plan, picture itinerary, t-shirt designs, travel plans, packing list, to do list, etc. EVERYTHING! I had it all on a flash drive, which I am VERY careful with. I ALWAYS put it back in the same place, but it wasn't there last night! I couldn't find it anywhere. The flash drive is very large and some times DH uses it for work or something, but he swears he hasn't touched it. I worked so hard on all that stuff! I am going to cry if I can't find it.

Anyway, I'm upset. DH just looked at me like I had two heads for being so upset, but I knew you guys would understand.

I am so sorry to hear that. I would totally be freaking out. I hope you are able to find it. Please let us know. I know you've worked SO hard on all that...

Just booked our Mother/Daughter trip for November 2-7! I used my whopping 10% off PIN for the POP! We will keep our fingers crossed for a better discount for all. We also changed our dates a bit so we can hopefully attend MVMCP on the first night!

I also went ahead and booked one way of airfare on Southwest!! I really like that first morning non-stop flight.

Yay! I like that flight, too, so I always book as soon as possible. On the way back I like the last nonstop, although maybe that just extends my "last day blues!"

Does someone know offhand when they did Fantasmic last November, say the week before Thanksgiving? We went in December last year and there was no Characterpalooza at all because F! was every night at 6:30. Yes, I'm actually considering another month just so we can do this again.

Well, crud. Looks like November is a no Characterpalooza month as well (after the first week). Although for some reason the 17th didn't have one listed. Every other day did. I wonder what was up with that.

I wish Disney would just release the November hours. I hate being at a stand still with our plans. I'm going to have to pin down DH tonight on exactly how many days we are staying. We keep going back and forth on 7 or 8 days. I'm hoping for 8 days!!

• Will any of the Gingerbread Houses be done to warrant side trips to other resorts? I'm thinking closer to Thanksgiving. I know they were done by the Saturday after Thanksgiving in 2010 because that's when we saw it.

I am right there with you. I've been looking at our plan today, and I've scrapped it all (for the 3rd time), and started over...again. I filled in a few answers above. Others will probably be able to help a little more, and give more specific dates.
