room for some time in November somehow? first time on this board, not sure if i'm in right place.

Or if there are codes for discounts, ever. !!!!

thanks all.

Am I understanding this correctly, that the Visa discount for Nov. has been released?

Can we call 24-hours a day to apply a code (if/when a general code comes out), or do they open at 7am?

I don't think it has been released yet, people are speculating it will be Thursday.

AP rates are out!!! Just switched my BWI AAA rate to AP for mid-Nov:thumbsup2
Visa rates will be out tomorrow!!

I believe there is a code, but they'll put it in if you just ask for the AP rate. I didn't ask her what the code was.

I got through quickly, but she is asking for a code and I'm on hold now. So, we'll see where it goes!
:)

the woman appears to be somewhat new to this. She has started over twice, but we're getting there!
:D

edited to add...she is having a TON of trouble! I have been on with her for 30 minutes, and she keeps starting over. She is very nice, but she seems to be having a hard time!
keeping my fingers crossed here...

Just got off the phone and the CM was not helpful at all! I asked about AP rates; he didn't know what I was talking about. I think he was new and hates his job. I'm calling back. The price he quoted me was the same as what I was quoted 2 days ago for all Value resorts. UGH!

Got an AP rate applied to my reservation---

When I originally booked, price was $165 per night. Reservationist told me today's price is $185 per night, but AP discount takes it to $134 per night...saves me $210.

Anyone know if Disney Visa or General Public discount ends up being better historically??

TIA!

Hmmmm hasnt hit the AP site though.. that figures..

Okay, I saved $281 on our resort stay at CSR
:thumbsup2

that is about what we saved last year with the general public code.
I am happy with that!

Now, best wishes to all of you!!! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Not so thrilled with this discount. I just booked POP at the AP rate: $84/night M-TH and $99/weekend. That's a savings of $5 per night from what I was quoted a couple of days ago. I guess any discount is better than nothing, but I was really hoping for the $69 we paid in May and last Nov.

But, at least we have it booked, and I can't wait to get there!

So it doesn't sound like this deal worth getting an AP for? I was planning on getting an AP (have 2 trips within the year), IF there was a good AP rate... otherwise I will keep hoping for a Visa or general code. :worship:

It might be depending on the number of days that you are going becasue the ap will be cheaper than MYW tickets and you could purchase the DDE card. Run the numbers and see.

How many total days are you going?

I didn't even use it for an ap rate...I used the ap to get the DDE card and saved enough that it made it worth the difference between the MYW Tickets and the ap price.

I am going 10 days this year(Nov 26- Dec 6) and most likely I would got 9 - 10 nights the following Oct. I was planning on possibly getting the dinning plan, but the DDE might be better.

Do they blackout AP's over the Thanksgiving holiday, though? I have never had an AP.

I just got off the phone with a very nice CM, but sadly (just like for my trip next week) the AAA discount is better than the AP one. For a preferred room at the ASSp he quoted me $96 a night and I'm currently paying $94.

He was surprised the AP rate wasn't cheaper (and so was the agent I spoke to a few months ago about the August AP discount)! :confused3

I was really hoping the AP would benefit me "room wise". :sad2: :sad1:

But I can definitely recommend getting a AAA (or in my case CAA) card!;)

Im doing the same thing with the DDE princessjv!!! Getting the AP so I dont have to do DDP, and use DDE instead....LMNOP! :rotfl: >> BUT I was hoping for a good room discount with AP...if I cant get it...I might actually have to purchase the DDP. :scared:
