Just got off the phone with WDW the CM said that he could not book any ressies right now or give prices... he could only check availability but what good is that if he can't reserve it!! He said he couldn't tell us how long the system would be down, but it would probably be a couple of hours!! Has anyone else heard this?

I was trying to see with the general public code if POFQ was available during 11/21-11/29.... I guess now I will need to wait till later...

Thankfully I do already have a ressie with the visa code... but it is for POR... I would really like FQ!

Yes. I got the "the system is undergoing enhancements" spiel after my second phone call (on hold for 25 minutes). First phone call...on hold over an hour, got cut off without getting to speak to anyone.

Apparently today isn't my day.

I did have to hold for 1 hour and 40 minutes, though! I had to hold longer because we are a "grand gathering" (that term always makes me feel like I'm part of a herd of cattle).

the system was going down/crashing as we talked. I did get my change made, but didn't get to change for the rest of my party before the system crashed, so he will call me back when they're up and running

How long are ya'll waiting before trying back again?!?! The CM I spoke with said a couple of hours, I don't think I can wait that long!!!
THis is killing me!! We've been waiting and waiting and now this! Why would they pick this time to do the enhancements?

I'm guessing they're not really "system enhancements"...I think all the people calling in and using the codes crashed the system.

Did you use the regular phone number or did you have to use a different number because you are a Grand Gathering? We are also a Grand Gathering but I do have four confirmation numbers that I was going to give the CM.

I got in this morning! I saved $226.08. I had to change from Movies to Music to get the discount but I don't care.

I am definitely doing a happy dance!!!

I just received an e-mail from my travel agent from Small World Travel and we saved $395.60!!!!!

Our final cost is now $1,517.17 for the following:

Room at Pop Century - November 2 - 9
MYW 6 day hopper passes (4 tickets - 2 adults, one junior, one child)
Grand Gathering breakfast at Tony's townsquare restaurant

My sister-in-law's family is saving the same amount and my father-in-law is saving $.14 less. His original cost was $1007 and now it is $681.

My sister-in-law has been jokingly making fun of my OCD with planning our trip but now REALLY appreciates my Disney compulsion!

Hope everyone else is able to get the discount. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for everyone still on hold....

Aye_Sea_Turtles, you have to call the Magical Gatherings/Grand Gatherings Reservations number. Whenever I get through on the regular reservation number, they tell me they can't access my reservation because it's a grand gathering, and they transfer me over.

You should be okay with POR. I am a travel agent and was calling the travel agent line for my trip to POFQ 11/9-17 and they offered me POR since French Quarter had nothing available.

I had a very helpful CM. She had to try the code a different way to get it to work for that time as it was blacked out.

I may be wrong (I'm new to all this code business), but I think the discount requires a 3 night stay and it looks like you are only there for 2 nights.

I think you are right. That's what i was told with the VISA code.
