Calling all you Maryland people - how proud are you all?? Your boy is amazing. I personally think he's part fish!

It's really eerie for me to watch Michael Phelps swim. My brother was a swimmer. His name was Michael. His stroke for both the butterfly and free style was identical to Michael Phelps. He would have been very excited to see MP swim. (Not meaning to be a downer, just my connection to it all. My brother died 7 years ago.)

I just love the Olmypics. Is anyone else watching? I make everyone in my family stand when they play our national anthem at the medal ceromonies!!

We are watching the Olympics every night, and cannot believe how well MP is doing!!

I work with his aunt who lives in Frederick, so I feel sort of a "special" connection to him, although we've never met. She's going to get his autograph for my kids, though!

We've really enjoyed the gymnastics as well. Go USA!!

We got our passports yesterday. I only took one week. We couldn't believe it.

Dominick and I had our 50th birthday party yesterday. It's the only weekend we had free until after the cruise. Dominick's is Aug 29 and mine is Oct 9, but it's never too early (or too late since we are celebrating it on the cruise!) to celebrate your birthday.

I was talking to my friend Mikkel tonight, she is a fellow DCL Bride, and we were talking about Photography. Well she had a great idea....to post on our cruise sailings to see if anyone who is cruising on our sailings is a photographer. I would be more then willing to pay a photographer to do our pictures instead of using Shutters! So if you are a Photographer and you are on our sailing...Send me a PM!!!

Sorry, we can't help you out either, but this really is a great idea! Did you post it in the regular DCL forum? Are you planning to give disposable cameras to your guests? Sometimes the candid shots are more fun anyway! They sell 'wedding' cameras at Party City.

It's getting close. I know how excited I am for this trip, I can't imagine it being my wedding day too. I wouldn't be able to contain myself!!

I am not going to do the Disposable cameras, but I will be meeting with each person before they leave the ship to get all of thier pictures off of thier memory cards and onto my laptop.

Jumping into the game late but I thought we would daive in and see how the water is.

We will be taking our first Disney Cruise after a few (not enough) trips to WDW with all of you on the Nov. 2nd Wonder sailing. It will be my wife and I and our two kids (daughter 11 and son 7). We have splurged and are going to enjoy a Cat. 4 Deluxe Family Stateroom. The plan is to stay in Cocco Beach Friday night, visit Kennedy Space Center Saturady and then wake up Sunday morning and drive the kids to the Port and suprise them with the cruise. So far wee have been able to keep it a secret.

Looking forward to it and have started to read up on the DIS Boards and Passporter. I am interested to learn more about fish extenders, etc.
