November 2 on the 4 day Wonder!

LOVE the melting pot....Go sign up at thier web site and you will get a free desert!

I was on there the other day and didn't notice a sign up - I'll have to check, thanks!!

ohhh yummmmy. I LOVE the melting pot. The salad with the gorgonzola cheese and raspberry vinegrette is SO SO good.. also love the original swill fondue and the dinner with the salmon. mmmmm that curry sauce is so stinking good. Be sure to ask for some garlic herb seasoning salt stuff. It goes GREAT on the veggies. Hmmmm I gotta get down to the beach!

also love the original swill fondue

Was that supposed to be swiss?? I equate swill with garbage. :confused3 Or is that really what it is called? I want to make sure I take advantage of all good things!!

Moving us back to the first page ....

It's our 21st Anniversary tomorrow!! We are going to the Melting Pot - I've never been to one. Has any one else?

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! party: You'll have to give us a report on the Melting Pot.
DH has wanted to try it, I'm not so sure for me. Sometimes I'm kinda hestitant to try something new, especially when it's costly (and that's what I've heard about it, but don't know for certain)
ENJOY!!! :goodvibes

We had a very nice time .... it was expensive!!! Fortunately we had a $100 gift certificate. It still cost us another $150 for the 4 of us. We had a bottle of wine and 2 after dinner drinks, in addition to dinner.

It was good, not sure I'd go again. It was very good mind you, just a little out of my price range. I'd rather go to Maggianos - an Italian resturant in our area.

Well, the good news is we are another day closer to our trip!!!

I like to go to the Melting Pot for Desert. Sometimes we go somewhere else for dinner then head over thier just for the yummy desert!

Look what I got in the mail yesterday!

It's beautiful!!! I can't wait to order mine.

Back from my girls weekend! So much fun.

Of course, it came to a crashing halt when I got my first ever speeding ticket this morning :( The money to pay the ticket has to come out of my Disney souvenier money ;)

Love the food at the Melting Pot. The turtle fondue is incredible. However, I hate having to go to a restaurant and cook my own food. DH thinks I'm nuts, but if I want to cook, I can stay home :lmao:

Glad you had a great weekend. You need a girls night (or weekend) every once in a while!! Sorry about the ticket.:sad2:

We had the dark and white chocolate AND the smores desserts. WOW. I would have loved the turtle but Dominick doesn't like nuts. Now I have to work very hard to get 25lbs (or more) off before we cruise. Which is really hard, not only do I love food, but I am an fantastic cook, (and oh so modest :thumbsup2 ).

I am also waiting very impatiently for the November hours to be posted.

You're all making me hungry talking like that! I love chocolate! :lovestruc

I too am waiting patiently (?!) for November park hours, Domiii.

We just got all our reservations made for WDW, so it feels so much closer. Now I just need to see the EMH and I'll be all set.:thumbsup2

I know I wish they would com eon with the November Hours! I am going to make all of our dining reservations on Saturday! I hate doing it with out the hours!

With the F&W and the DVC we don't need to make many ADRs, but I'd like to know the early and late hours .... There is a thread just watching for it on theme parks and strategies, if you haven't seen it. There are auto links on page 24. I have no clue how to imbed another thread in here, so I won't! :confused3

Here it is:

Hey all it's raining here in NJ and there are no November hours posted. It's Thursday and I wish it were Friday!! I'm just babbling and moving us to page one. I don't want us to get lost in the mass of other cruisers!!! :rotfl2:

Happy weekend, all.

I booked DS15's flights last night (the rest of us are driving, he gets to fly to shorten his time missed at school) One more thing to check off my list!

We got free tickets to Kennedy Space Center from our congressman, so we may actually skip WDW before the cruise (gasp) I REALLY want to go to MNSSHP on the 30th because we had SUCH a great time when we went in '06, but I just cannot make myself justify $250 to go to the party. Oh, decisions decisions. It sucks being poor :rotfl:

OOO tough decision! I'm sure which ever you decide you'll have a great time! When is DS arriving? The day of the cruise or before? Just curious.

Happy Belated Mother's Day every one!

We're all driving in on Wednesday night/Thursday morning. We'll fly DS in Friday night so we can spend Saturday at Kennedy. We'll stick him on a plane on Thursday afternoon after we disembark, then we're taking 2 days to drive home, maybe longer since we've been invited to stay a couple of nights with friends in Nashville. I hate to fly and would much rather drive anyhow. Yes, I'm a chicken

How long of a trip is it? We've driven twice. Once we stopped part way and once we drove straight through. It's about 1700 miles. I really didn't mind the drive, if you have the time. When just the 4 of us are traveling, it doesn't make sense to drive - cost of gas vs. airfare!

16-17 hours depending on how many potty breaks the little one needs. We usually leave around 4am and drive straight through. Last WDW trip we drove straight home and we were miserable. This time we are stopping and staying halfway on the way home.

I priced airfare and it would be right around $1,300 for the 6 of us, plus transfers to the port. Even with food and a hotel stop on the way down, it's way cheaper to drive. And I hate flying. With a passion. I'd have to be sedated and miss probably the first 2 nights of the 4 night cruise recovering from whatever drugs I had to take
