We're not out of the woods yet (no pun intended), but there has been progress & good news:

Update on Colorado Springs Black Forest Fire:

NUMBERS UPDATE: From the #BlackForestFire Press conference at noon on Saturday, June 15:

45% containment
100 new firefighters
3,181 homes are untouched
473 homes are a total loss
17 homes are a partial loss
15,500 acres

They've reduced the evac area & About 4000 people (not in the burn area)have been allowed to go back to their homes. The situation is getting better but there's still much to do before the fire is at full containment. Also they still have about 6000 homes that have not yet been accessed about their condition. Thank you for your prayers!!

The situation is much better now but this fire was the most devastating fire that Colorado has ever seen.

containment is 75%
483 homes lost (that's alot of families )
over 3600 homes appear unaffected firefight firefighting team simply amazing!)
over 14000 acres burned

wouldn't say 'sleep in' cause i will be up early on top deck but not in time for the sunrise. thats a tad to early for me.

Just bought our plane tickets. I think I got a pretty good price - $138 per person each way (which is good because we have 7 people going so even at a good price, it is still a huge chunk of change!)

Hubby suggested we fly in a little early and spend a day at WDW. So we get to have some time there! TOTLLY excited!!!!

We did the EXACT same ship & itinerary in July of 2012 and loved it enough to do a repeat performance this year!

Welcome! Looking forward to sailing with you! There is a FE going but the wonderful lady who is in charge of it is up to her eyeballs with stuff (among other things, she just moved). I am sure she will see this in a while and let you know how to join.

Hi there,

Just to let you know we have been having issues with the DCL on line website, so much so DCL have changed the Julian calendar for the first time in thousands of years. DCL have decided that we should have 2 Sunday the 3rd of Nov's and that has led to a number of issues. We now have Palo brunch on the day we are docked at St Maarten, you shouldn't be able to do this of course. We also have a Cabana booked at Port Canaveral for the Sat 8th Nov, of course that should be CC, but they "cocked up"

I called them at 4am EST and let them know, we can do that from the UK. So if you get logged on and some strange dates that don't add , don't worry they will fix it it the coming weeks, before the gold members start booking activities.

They also didn't recognise us as Platinum cruisers but that only took five hours to put right.

I called DCL and reported the problem 2 weeks ago. The CM was forwarding the problem to their Tech people. Hopefully, it will be resolved soon.
