i prefer Dis over FB anytime!..didnt seem like anyone has been around here though much so i stopped checking in lately..i'll have to try and pop in here more often..(of course that may just scare everyone away even more!)

We just pulled in to Port Canaveral from Fantasy Western. Now that the cruise is over, I'll be on this thread more often.

And I like DUSboards more than FB any old day.

on our Dream cruise in Dec they traded Vinylmations. Not sure if they still do on the Fantasy? Perhaps some of the recent cruisers can let us know if they did or not.

Hi, all, sorry to say I check FB more, but now that my class is over, DD school year is almost over and work for me is getting into it's summer swing, I hope to be on both.
Has anyone ever done the Zip line trip on St. Thomas? How hard is it? Is it good for a 12 year old?
Does anyone have a good Family adventure for St. Maarten? Did the 2 Island Bus tour in '91, but would like something different to do with DD and her younger cousins and maybe with Nana and Pop Pop (DH parents)?

We are thinking of doing the zip line tour too. I need to know how hard it is too because I am handicapped and I want to know if I can do it (I normally walk with a cane, but I can walk a little ways without it if I have too). Has anyone been on this???

I haven't posted for awhile but our city, Colorado Springs, could use your prayers. We have a fire in our Black Forest that's been going for 2 days now. We live close to the Black Forest and are just a couple miles from the southern part of the evacuation area. Below are posts I made on Facebook

I am up in Denver and we are seeing all the smoke from the fire. I hope you are safe.

Unfortunately, I just heard that they found 2 bodies in the fire. Let's hope there won't be anymore fatalities.

Thank you sewdisney! We haven't heard officially but they think that no additional homes were lost today! The 2 fatalities are believed to be a couple who were preparing to evacuate with garage door & car doors open. So heartbreaking. The massive fire fighting team has been amazing at what they do in saving many more homes than have been destroyed!!!! Also heartbreaking, even though there is much law enforcement patroling the evacuated areas there are still looters who are stealing precious mementos from the evacuees - some homes & cars. Our family is good for now as we are about 3 miles south of the Mandatory Evacuation perimeter line and the wind is blowing the fire in our opposite direction at this moment. Containment is currently at 5% which though small percentage is still good news for us.
