Finish the story Willie......Then when Dws and DDs and Dss showed up Willie went to the bar.... :rotfl2: All kidding aside, We sailed in Feb. once, once the week after Thanksgiving, once Dec. 1 and last Thurkeyday and the only difference I noticed was the lifeboat brill and sea days by the pools. Other than that 1/2 full or full seemed to be more than enough places on the ship to do whatever you wanted.....

.....she says after a day at work and then directly off to do a bit of grocery shopping (which took 3 different stops to get things I need for the weekend) and not getting home until 9:15 - I am pooped! Ah, it would be nice to just relax and enjoy that relaxing massage :goodvibes Actually, I would settle for that chair by the pool or the hammock - now you would think that I am whining - well okay - call like it is - WHINE, works for me

Molli and family visiting this weekend and I needed to stop by and catch up - I want to be ready for the thread "pop" quiz this weekend :rotfl:

Sandusky OH - haven't been there in years and if..... my DD now considers herself in the "fuddy-duddy" stage - yikes - where-oh-where does that put her DM? Ah, I do believe that it's much too late and in my weakened state tonight, to be "analyzing" the stages of life (whew) ::yes:: - I think I'll save that for a "rainy day"

Lampy, I only ran into you at the bar when I needed another konk kooler. What, 4 or 5 times? That was only because you would head off the beach waiter before he got to me. I had to fetch my own drinks! But you had the waiter bringing em, AND you were getting them from the bar?

Is anyone here going to keep their REAS package, now that we'll be able to book 90 days ahead online? I plan on keeping ours, so we can book 105 days out. (Don't want to take a chance on not getting a Palo brunch slot, since we only have two sea days.) :earsgirl:

Can you tell me how it has changed? I just booked it and they tell me I can not request a dining rotation... I can not make my reservations, etc. so I'm wondering if it gets me anything?

How does REAS help with the Palo Brunch ressie? I'm still not sure if I want to keep it... this is from the "new" website... it also states AROMATHERAPY body massage... is that what is said b4? When I called the Disney line person told me to call a phone number 30 days out... I asked her why I would do that when I could go on line before 30 days out???? thoughts anyone? about the whole thing? and they said i could do totally nothing about dinner rotation preference...

Yep, it's true...once a turkey...always a turkey!!! I didn't even rebook for the Turkey 2005 and I've been a proud lurker here since day one!! :grouphug:

And Teresa...you called that one about MVMCP...tickets went on sale right after we talked and I got tickets for Dec. 20. Thanks! :wizard:

Well, hope ya'll have a magical weekend! Pixie dust for DS, Nic, he's competing at state music contest today...trombone, piano, vocal duet and ensemble...and he's been sick with that allergy gunk the past few days so we'll see. I'd better shove off or I won't make that 1 1/2 drive to get to see him perform...take care!!

Hey Scorpio!

I'm still going to keep my REAS package, because I don't want to take a chance of not securing a Palo brunch reservation.

I don't know why the that website mention aromatherapy, as it's always been the couples massage?

Most recent cruisers have said it's still couples massages as well. (I hope it doesn't change, I don't think I could get into the aromatherapy.)

I know it's frustrating because whenever I call DCL, I sometimes get different answers too.

When we did REAS last year, we booked about 1 month before we sailed, and Debbie (from REAS) called me back personally (after I submitted payment over the phone) and took care of all my reservations. I requested diining rotation, and even though I didn't know it WASN'T guaranteed when I requested it, it was still honored.

I don't know if all of this is going to change now that we can book online.

However, I've yet to ever suffer any major disappointments with DCL, and have faith that most everything will work out for everyone. Each time we've sailed, it's always been a full cruise, but there has still been availability and cancellations at Palo and Spa from other cruisers.

I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that when mid-August arrives, I'll be able to book the package 105 days out. :earsgirl:

Mickeyhugger thanks so much for responding to my SOS

I still don't understand about the brunch ressies tho.... i don't see that mentioned anywhere at all :confused3

I do not want aromatherapy either!!! totally not into the smell thing

I really do appreciate your reply.. :) i was starting to wonder if I was an unwanted newbie

LOL! I don't think so. I think it's more like a bunch of people all talking at once at a supper table. :crowded:

Laura, we did the Mickeys very Merry Christmas Party a couple of years ago. It was great. You guys will love it. No lines.

Hey guys, been busy lately but finally read thru.....Silver....if you are lurking there is still hope for you to sail, you too Laura. I'll have to do some investigating on the reas package changes. 86 degrees yeaterday and sunny.....AWSOME!! Today the "flag pole " guy came over and restrung the cable.....now "old glory" and NASCAR are flying high and proud!!!!

scorpio -- no newbie nonsense :) did you get your questions answered? don't feel bad, we did a 4 day wonder and even after my extensive reading and Passporter book, I never knew there was a Palo brunch! at all let alone during the cruise I was on! humph!

i'm still keeping my REAS package for the convenience of booking earlier than rest (that is right??) and for the reasong that DH wouldn't indulge in a massage seperately and the champagne breakfast

guess we've all been busy! i know i have but still thinking often of our cruise!

Molli

I'm Just back from the Carribean, Haiti that is! 95 and sun most of the week!
The people are very friendly. Hope the new government helps them. Tourism would be great there.

For all you Indy fliers......John......looks like ATA is starting to add flights and reduce prices.....9:40 a.m. flight out of Indy on Friday and a 12:15 p.m. return looks like 325.00 per person......I'm going to wait it out a little more........

We are keeping the REAS for now. I have to believe that there would be some advantage remaining. Did I read that we can make ressies 105 days out?
Good pic, Lamps.
