***The Official AKV Owners And Lovers Thread***. Come And Chat

We just came back from a stay at Kidani Village. I don’t know if anyone has mentioned this previously, but we heard the sound of rolling carts or suitcases every morning starting exactly at 5:50 am. Our room is 7318. Other than this issue, everything is great about Kidani. We had a two bedroom Savana view and the view of animals is amazing all the time.
Could it have been equipment for the refurbishment? Were you in a refurbished room?

That's very interesting I've never heard anything at Kidani, not even hallway noise. Were you near an elevator or a cast member area? Maybe a housekeeping cart storage area?

Are there any pool view rooms at jambo with a partial Savannah view?
Also when in the main lodge ( not DVC) should I request a floor? We don’t want to be on the ground floor.
We have two rooms booked…
I would appreciate any suggestions for room requests. Thanks

The cash rooms are probably categorized differently than the DVC rooms so you'll probably want to ask elsewhere, since we focus on the DVC rooms here.

There are still some rooms at Kidani that are closed to guests and being refurbished, but if you are checking in to Kidani from now on you will get a refurbished room. Jambo will start once Kidani is complete, probably in 6 weeks or so.
