Yep, I made it Willie.....just building up some tolerence for that November sailing.....

Hey Bill......looks like I'm going to do the "mastercraft" thing. My neighbor, 4 door down is a retired doctor. He has a 99 prostar 205 open bow with 93 hours on it. He used it for when his kids and grandkids came out......boat, trailer and cover. I'm working on trying to get his shorestation.

I will be leaving Saturday bright and early for Las Vegas with 7 buddies. I will check back with you guys when I return on Wednesday. Have a great weekend, everybody. Willie

So what's your game in the "sin" City? Are you a texas holdem' all day and nighter or move around the tables a bit? Have a great time and I will be thinking of you and your buddies! Okay - I know "what goes on there stays there" and x7 that has to be a pact for sure :rotfl: but we were just talking about Vegas this week and I wish it didn't take so darn long from Ohio to fly there - a weekend every few months would be a great thing! ohMom (Molli) plays a "mean" craps game - darn good "shooter"  yes- I am a tad "green" but have a great time and WIN, too!!!!

Scorpio, wish I was being "true" to my "nothing tastes as good as thin feels". I have been in a slump and really want to get back into the groove of a very healthy lifestyle .................. but it "ain't" happening at the moment :guilty: (sipping a glass of wine ...... well, that is healthier than "guzzling" a carb laden beer I guess :teeth:

:guilty: :guilty: I hear ya but I'm guzzling the carb laden wonder! I have to say I'm watching my count down clock click and that 200 day mark is approaching soon... I was in the warm weather in March and larger than I've ever been on a vaca... felt terrible, no excuse tho, I knew 6 mos ahead I'd be there ... while there, I promised myself I'd don a belly button ring :rotfl2: by the time it was cruise time... well I "know" that ain't happenin but I gotta shed a whole lotta weight... I had a crisis last year around this time that found me packin on :earseek: hate to say it but THIRTY big ones... :hourglass time to get the lead out!!!! My D day is day 200!!!!

Hi Lisa -

I'm in a far southwestern suburb named Evergreen Park. It borders Oak Lawn and Chicago. Familiar with it?

Kris

Maybe all those people in Ohio are still shoveling out :rotfl2: !!!

Molli

I am finishing up my packing for a trip to Haiti with a group from church.
We fly Friday AM.

We are building a classroom, mini Bible school for the kids, and something special for the ladies of the church we will visit.

I wish I could take all the left over food from just one night on the DCL!

Molli, I sent pm about ressie confirmation. Glad we could help each other.

The Doctor said we are having a BOY!
Now I can get all those "fun" toys!

I'm baaaack! Wow. 4 days and 3 nites in Vegas is too much! We (8 guys) stayed at the TI at the Mirage. Nice place. We walked the strip alot shooting craps at just about every casino! No big winners, and no big losers! But we had a great trip. Saw the volcanos, Pirates vs Sirens, dolphins, tigers, exotic birds, flamingos, and even a rhino. Did the Star Trek Experience. Mostly we ate and drank alot! It is good to be home, though. It will take me a few days to get my days and night back straight!

Willie

I heard the Magic will be in dry dock the first two weeks of October. There were some major changes last time the Magic was in dry dock, anybody know what is going on this year?

Welcome back Willie!!!! Kim leaves on the 12th. As far as updates on the ship I don't believe there will be and major renovations. I hear that the deck 5 cabins weren't completely finished on last dry dock. Rumor has it that the new internet areas are a big hit and they want some more of those............
.......Also........rumor has it that there are going to be some BIG TIME celebrities on the 05 Turkey Day sailing and the want to expand the bar area for more seating.......... :rotfl2: Yep, Ron Bon Jovi and band is STILL being talked about and they are afraid there won't be enough seats.... :rotfl2: :rockband: :drinking1

Well, I just booked the REAS package. :love2: Is anyone else planning on booking it? We did this for our anniversary cruise last year, and can't wait to do this again. (Loved the swedish massage, but even more, loved the advance Palo ressies!)

I know the weather is warming but there is no excuse for this thread going to page 2.

I have actually started posting more since the reality has just sunk in. My wife works for a public utility where seniority plays a HUGE part in chosing vacation time. Although she has 15 years in she is still number 2 on the seniority list so it didn't look good until just a couple weeks ago when she got the official word so I will be spending more time on this thread since it is a definite. I didn't want to get my hopes up.

BTW...I have been wanting to contact (Que or maybe it is Cue). He is one of the activities people. I can't remember their official title, but there are usually about six of them and they get the crowd pumped up on the embarkation party and many other events.

1. Do you know his full name (I want to send him a letter/package)?
2. Please remind me what the title is of the folks I affectionately refer to as the "fun bunch".

Count Kelli and I as booked for the REAS package. Did it last year and was great.

I'm booking it this year also Willie......Kim has done the spa each year but I never have, she told me I should do the one that removes the "toxins".....could you imagine that? :rotfl2:

Hey Willie, we should see about getting on the same dinner "rotation" since it's available with the package.

I swear thatI remember Julia telling me that she asked for all of our reservations to have the same dinner rotation and we would be seated together or near each other. This was when she re booked for 2005. Julia? Did I remember this correctly? I guess we could call and ask DCL? Lampy, can you ask your girlfriend about this? I think this is where we got the food fight ideas.

Willie
