Okay, ya'll are amazing...I am putting my money on the 5Js to hit #5000, but I think it'll happen about Wednesday morning...ya'll are getting too excited! (Rightly so, though.)

I'm guessing Willie is out celebrating his anniversary with Kellie this weekend, but he'll probably be back onboard tomorrow.

Ron....Teresa and I had a bit of a pity party this afternoon..waaaaaaaaaaaaaa...but decided that konk koolers are in order when we face west at 5pm EST this Saturday and give a big, "Saaaaaaaaaluuuuuute" in ya'lls honor.

TCD/Andrew...you are gonna fit right in with this group....

Oh, and just trying to help the cause...go #5000!!

Tropical depression 27 has formed in the SE Caribbean, and could become Tropical Storm Gamma by Monday. :guilty:

I thought we were past all of this!

I just saw the report this morning. If it follows their timeline it will be in the western carribean on Saturday.
Anyone up for an Eastern Carribean Cruise? :umbrella:

I can't belief this, and DH said to me hurricane's aren't likely when we leave :umbrella: .Well,he may be wrong.I will take Eastern Carribbean, but I was surely looking forward to a new itinerary as we just did the Eatern Carribbean this past December. We will see what happens!

Happy Monday all!The clock is ticking, and before we know it Friday will be here.

@#$%^&* THIS IS CRAZY!!! HURRICANE???!!!

I'm confused :confused3 the weather report is saying east carribean...it's not going towards west? So if that's true, then we wouldn't be changing our itinerary...right?

This time I really don't care as long as: we have 2 days at CC....we have good sunny warm days...and best of all, to be around all you guys. Other than that...I'M Happy. :goodvibes :goodvibes

i just logged in b/c i saw the scroll on the news about a potential Gamma

nnnnnnooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as long as it stays far far away from Castaway Cay!!

I would think 2 x CC would be safe being in the Bahamas to the north. Its the Western Carribbean thats in trouble. If the storm stays small it may stay south of us, though we may get rain from it.

Its in the lower Antillies right now, which is the south part of the Eastern Carribean. Its moving west and is anticipated to be in the Western Carribean by Saturday.

Hopefully,it is a moving fast, but then again DCL wouldn't take us there unless everything was fine.CC won't be affected by it thank GOD!.This is just unbelievable. Is this hurricane season ever going to end this year?

It is moving west which means it will be in the western carribbean by Saturday as long as it doesn't stall.CC is fine as long as it takes this track!Western Carribbean is what may not take place at least not this cruise if it continues this track!

Maria

At least there won't be any snow/blizzards - except at CC on Friday. I'm watching the blizzard warnings for the north. :cold: I think the change in weather this week will make everyone even more appreciative of the WARM weather. :cool1:

I'm getting ready for my last week of work before THE BEST THANKSGIVING CRUISE EVER cruise. Only 5 more wakeups and we'll be boarding. Except for those that won't sleep Friday night - for you it will only be 4 more wakeups. :rotfl2:

Say it ain't so!!! No more hurricanes unless they come in a pretty glass garnished with fruit!!
I agree with others, I don't want to lose 2 days at CC but otherwise I don't care what the itinerary is as long as I get to my Palo reservation on Saturday night. :goodvibes

maria -- thank you for putting my mind more at ease!! geography is NOT my thing. i had no clue if CC was in the path -- big prayers and PD for this storm to GO AWAY!!

laurie -- love your thoughts on the shirt!!

Paul -- get your print artist ready ---- editing and more editing

we are leaving Ohio on thursday evening NO MATTER! it'll be turning chilly here this week and i'm outta here

Your welcome!I just gathered the information from everyone else on here. They had all the great informative sites.I know I for one will b watching the weather channel throughout the week. These storms are something else. They can turn at a drop of a hat.I am just hoping and praying that it dies before it touches any land.I hate geography too.I am with you.We are leaving Friday night that is certain!

Maria

But think how much faster we will get to 5000 posts with all the hurricane talk and possible itinerary changing. :rotfl: We are nearly one tenth of the way there now!

Noooooo, I don't want my Western Itinerary messed up! Call me crazy (and they do!) but I really want to go to Grand Cayman and see the things we missed last time, and I am so looking forward to the Mayan Ruins in Costa Maya. I want to go see an uspoiled area before tourism changes it! Plus, I don't care for St. Thomas all that much, although St. Maarten is nice, scary roads but being as I grew up European, those beaches are wonderful if you want a great tan (Kathleen looks around first to make sure no DIS-ers are around before she harkens back to her European need to be topless at the beach :rotfl2: )!

By the way, bring on the Speedos! I love 'em! Hey, if a woman has no choice but to show every curve and bump of her body in a body hugging swimsuit, men should feel the same anxiety and wear Speedos. Fair is fair. :teeth:

Kathleen.
