I missed it, too :-(

If anyone knows if it will be rebroadcast, please post!

Thank you :cloud9:

Hey Doogie,
Did I read that you are gonna do a website for our cruise? That will be great! I know that having one last cruise really helped get participation up for the DIS Meets. Thanks!

My Cowboys and Texans really stank up the place this weekend! Oh well, makes for a better draft position! At least the U.T. game was fun to watch!

Hey guys.........I see we all survived New Years Eve!!! We just sayed home and had a party with about 15 neighbors. No one wanted to leave the subdivision....the last one left at 3 am. They saw the pics on the computer.....they too will never look at Bon Jovi the same......
Hey Jon......it's a new year and time for a "new toy". I made a "deal with the devil". I wanted a "party boat" (are you surprised) pontoon and Kim wanted a "speed boat". So it looks like we are going to get a "ski boat". Mastercraft looks like the one we want. We are looking at the open bow inboards....Chicago boat show is the weekend of the 18th.

Well everyone
day one is almost over
i am doing a cross of 'Body for Life' and the 'South Beach' diets
my goal is 35lbs. being a 'man' i can loose the first 15lbs easy.
what i have learned about being a man is that i can't keep it off.
I played Raquetball yesterday and will at least play 3 more times this week.
between Raquetball and Golf... i am better than most but not as good as others!......uh!?

Well Ron, if (SINCE)we are having a DIS Band meeting in June at your place, i would suggest a nice open bow speedboat, 2 wave runners and a used pontoon boat to hold the coolers! I'll donate the bug spray!

Hi everyone,

I have just sent off the latest rev (2) with all the updates I have at present.

If you have sent me your email address, you have a copy.

How about the rest of you lurkers. How about being included in our DIS list, see who else is going. Maybe your next door neighbor, someone from the same community. (That happenned on the Easter Bunny 04 cruise, families went to same school, kids played in same soccer league.)

So how about it, lets get that info in. Use the DIS board and the "PM feature" to send me your info and email address. Don't forget, without your email address, I can't send you the list.

If you never used the PM feature before, just left click on my name (kennyk) and you'll be brought to the proper page.

Kennyk :cool1: :earboy2:

Melissa--don't cheerleaders need a squad to back them up?? Do you need help?? :cheer2:

John--be quiet--we girls don't want to hear how guys can just drop 15 lbs with no worries.

Thanks Kenny for all your hard work :jumping4:

Thanks Doogie for setting up the website (no speedo pictures Ron!)

Momsgoofy--Laura, don't even go there :guilty:

Ohmom--can we have an exercise thread in the WISH forum? Perhaps a Thanksgiving thread?

Lisa--any word about work? Do you have pull with your boss :earboy2:

Geez, I saw parts of the DCL special on the Travel Channel. I kept thinking "I was just there, and I saw that" MAJOR WITHDRAWLS

Did yall see that thread that said no one could swim on the Family beach at CC because of Sharks? :earseek:

We'll be joining you too. It's me, DH, DD(8) and DS(6). We're cruising with another DIS family we met onboard a May 2003 Western cruise.

To the returning Turkey cruisers, did they keep Thursday a formal night or change it? Can you please post the theme nights in order. I may be booking the REAS package and need to plan where to eat.

This is sad. . . I just happen to have my Navigators right here

Saturday--Casual
Sunday-Casual
Monday--Formal
Tuesday--Casual
Wednesday--Mexican or Tropical or Pirate pirate:
Thursday--Semi-Formal
Friday-Casual

:rockband:

teresa

Hey Gfolchick--Welcome! If you have a fax machine I can fax the navigators to you. You also get to keep the Thanksgiving Menu--a nice souvenier--PM me with your info

Oh yeah! I'm all for an exercise thread! I'm trying to walk on the treadmill daily - it sure would be great to have some company :-)

Kris

we ABSOLUTELY can have a thread on the WISH board -- check here

KennyK thanks again for the spreadsheet :)

I have booked REAS too, i'm thinking Palo on sunday night maybe, probably will go our first night at Lumiere's as that menu looks least appealing to me but still unsure of dining rotation i would request with my REAS -- probably APL to be in Lumier's on t-day

what rest were those returning cruisers in for thanksgiving and what did you think? thanksgiving will also be my father's birthday!

Just to let yall know the Hyatt opened up, but the prices are out of sight! We got a senior rate last year for $99, and now they have nothing lower than 189! :earseek:

DS 16 has to go to school that day, so we will not be coming in until later Friday night. I will check out Dave's site to get ideas for a second choice.

I have a Disney desktop calendar too - the one where you change the page every day - love it!

We will be flying in from Chicago on Friday night also - trying to cut down the days off school. I think the fares should be coming out soon.

Any hints on getting a good one? I'm really nervous about finding affordable air fare for our family of six over this holiday time.

Thanks -
Kris

Kris, Where are you at in Illinois? We flew out of midway (ATA) 'till last November on our previous 4 sailings. Last year we flew out of Indy, it was a lot less (1/2 of midway) we spent the night Thursday at the Adamsmark hotel and parking was free for the week and free shuttle service. It's 145 miles from us and Midway is about 80, but it is 2 hours to either place....

Doogie......the lake I live on is 98 acres. There are 4 lakes in the subdivision, ours, a 88 acre 10hp and less fishing lake and 2 electric trolling lakes. There is also an 18 hole pga course. (I prefer to drive the golf cast on the streets with a cooler on the back).A neighbor across the lake has a Baja (19ft.) with shore station. But it is a 99 and I don't want to "deal" with an older boat. There is nothing worse than having to work on your boat on a 100 degree day on your day off! Mastercraft seems to be the boat of choice....one with an open bow.

Hi Lampskies -

I am in the Chicago area. Indy sounds like quite a deal, but we have to leave on Friday after school -- it is probably about a 3 hour drive from here. It is good to know that the option is available -- thank you so much!

Kris

Midway then would be best for you.....book early they get expensive as time passes. I believe the least expensive air fare (ata) was available in March....keep in touch with Barb (inkognito) she lives in your area and always klies ata.
