Lamps... I don't call your beer Mellier...gotta stop ya from doin' the wine butcherin'... is Banfi. Castello Banfi of Italy. Good stuff. Got several bottles in the cellar in the basement.

Lisa, the the "drink of the day" turns into....2 for one drink of the day....LOL

Doogie? You can always tell the "car guys"....it's 53 buck a bottle at the local liquor store.....believe it was 1999....I found a 2002 bottle for 17.00 and gave it to a neighbor for a housewarming gift....was hoping he'd open it up to see if it was the same........It's on the DCL wine list.....of course the expensive side......

We're up for the martini tasting (and beer tasting). Anyone know which days they are available, I'm thinking sea days. We've done the wine tasting 2x so I'm done with that.

I got a few bottles left in the cellar 1995 for $30... from a case I bought back in 97'. (had to go check). Last time I was able to find a price on that year it was a bill and a half. I've got a rule for reds... gotta age 10 years. If it's spoils, it wasn't good to begin with. :) Just like you... ain't as good as it once was... but as good as you'll ever be!!! TOBY!!!

We did "beer tasting last year....anyone surprised?

Won't be long till we're doing the single digit dance -- can't believe it!

It seems so long ago that I booked this cruise. I know many of you booked while onboard last Thanksgiving -- but I'm curious how long we've all been anticipating this cruise!

To further our efforts to reach post #4000, everyone here post the date that they made their ressie for this Turkey Day Cruise!

I'll start:

I don't recall the exact day, but I booked in early December of 2004, so have been waiting *almost* a year!

Kris

We booked while onboard our last cruise what was August 21st - 28th, 2004 so it has been about 15 months from our last cruise, but we are booked already for 08/19/06.

:Pinkbounc :cheer2: :cool1: We got our T-shirts today! My ds loves his. He wanted to wear it to bed, tonite. I told him to wait till he wears it on the cruise first. I broke the news to my dm and db-inlaw. I 'll let them tell my dd and dsis, that they will match 90 other people. My dsis will kill me. 7 yrs ago, we did a family picture, all dressed aliked. When we walked into the mall, she would not walk with us. You would think we had Blue Hair!

We booked 5/10/04. It's been along count down. I will be driving the girls at work nuts, till we leave. :cool1: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Ok everyone,

A question :confused3 from a veteran, Now no laughing :rotfl: :rotfl2: When is the wine tasting and how do you sign up for it. I know it costs money, I believe butwhen is it and where do you get your tickets.

Ken

Kris, Ron and Jeff- My fellow campers! We should have a cruise reunion at Ft. Wilderness some time. Thanksgiving week is the greatest. We especially like to camp in the Nov. through Feb. time period. The camp ground is usually quiet, and you cannot beat the weather.

Pam 251- Glad to hear that your shirts made it to Ohio. I am getting objections to wearing them from my family too. They will be glad they have the shirts. We are the cool people, and it is our cruise. Everyone who does not have a shirt will wish that he did!

By the way, if anyone else wants in on the shirts, I will place another order, but we need to have 10 more shirts ordered.

Did anyone else get shirts today?

Wow!! It just took me a while to catch up. It seems like ya'all are already on vacation!! On the drinking subject--my goal is to try the "drink of the day" each day on the cruise. I also want to go to the wine tasting and the martini tasting. Anyone interested???

Willie--I hope that your arm is ok!! We have a beautiful (ha ha) very large stump in our front lawn--Chuck chopped down the tree that landed on his car and left the stump in the ground!!

We are looking forward to enjoying our vacation w/ the rest of you!!!!

Lisa
Count me in for the martini tasting and maybe wine too......

Bill- I feel your pain. I've been there. In fact, I think everyone I know who has gone to the Big Easy has been there. :faint: Those things are dangerous. Stay away! I would like to see how many Lampy can handle.
