Hi Everyone! My family is hoping to join you for this Thanksgiving cruise. My husband gave me permission to make reservations IF Disney offers an IGT rate. I am trying to not get my hopes up since it is probably unlikely that this will happen. I was wondering if any of you know how much the IGT rate was for this sailing? Were any of you lucky enough to snag that rate previously?

Most of the inside cabins for this cruise have been sold out for awhile. We hadn't seen anything yet for GT for this cruise but I just checked and there was VGT for what I paid for a secret porthole room

Awsome and done! Were you GTY? They assigned your cabin early? I am traveling gty for the Panama cruise, waiting for our assignment. I thought they did it about 30 days out. I'll need to start checking on that!

It classifed as a 9B (a full porthole). I've only cruised DCL once and it was a room with two small portholes so this will be a lovely treat for us!

Linda, Welcome back! I'm sure you had an awesome time...sorry we missed it.

Once you get settled..."when is the FE list closeout date"? DW is anxious to get ours done and wanted to know when the list will be reasonably "final". No hurry...just wondering. You may have already said and I missed it.

Hi Double,

The FE list was to close on 10/1. While I was away, I received a PM from a Dis member who wants to join. I have sent over a message to get the particulars and hopefully it will be totally final in the next day or 2. Sorry for the delay

I'm just waiting for a few cabin numbers otherwise. Check the list in my signature and see if I have your cabin numbers and participants correct. PM or post here any corrections.

The FE list is officially closed. The updated list is in my signature below. Just a friendly reminder...we have someone who has several food allergies and this is noted on the FE list. We do have a "no regular candy rule" except for specialty candy (ie no extra Halloween candy please). That said, please be sure to take note and adhere to the food allergy notice in the FE list. I know that will be greatly appreciated

We are a fairly small group that should be manageable meaning we won't need to break into smaller groups. I don't think we need to assign delivery days either. If you have pirate stuff, deliver it by Pirate night please, lol..Turkey decorations or magnets before Turkey day. My gift will come after Thanksgiving

Thanks to everyone for joining the FE. We are an awesome group! We will have tons of fun. Looking forward to DoubleTrouble reminding us of the group meetings we can do. I don't know if they are going to offer it this cruise or not, but I attended mixology for the fist time this past cruise. I would love to do it again!

Katie and Kathie are nuts about most anything Disney and Alex loves football. Jeff manages an Italian restaurant. We all live in OC so this cruise is perfect. No flying.

Has anybody heard if things will be Christmas'ey at all for this cruise. Maybe decorations and/or make gingerbread houses? I just had my first, "OMG the Xmas diecroations are up already!" shopping trip. I know DCL does this sometimes. Just over a month to go - getting excited!!

This is how crazy tired I am. I'm looking at your post and thinking how are you fitting 6 people in one room and getting ready to ask you what the 2nd cabin number is. I was going to post your group as 4 adults and 2 children:

Thanks for the updated FE list Linda! I've started on my FE gifts and it's funny how you can envision how your gift will look, but that's not exactly how they actually turn out. After a few failed attempts (and a well worn path to Michaels) I think I've finally worked out the little hiccups. Yay! I just have to pick up the finishing touch on my next trip to WDW at the end of the month. Can't wait!

abqDisneymom - welcome to the FE list! It would be super helpful if you could list the gender/relationship of the adults in your 3 cabins. Thanks!

Hello everybody! We are almost to the 30 day mark! I'm getting excited for this cruise.

I believe I have the FE list up to date. We are only missing 2 cabin numbers but maybe they haven't been assigned yet. So, double check the fe list in my signature. If I don't hear from the 2 missing numbers, I will send them a PM in a week or so.

Anyway, it is is important that at least one person from each cabin attend the meet and greet @ 3:00 in the Promenade lounge. We will be done in plenty of time for the fire muster station thingy.

I know a few people have expressed a desire to possibly upgrade at port so is someone's cabin numbers changes, you will want to get the the new cabin number in order to change the cabin number on your FE list. I will also have any changes posted on one of my doors: 7627 or 7629. I will be there with extra lists in case someone leaves theirs behind also.

Check out the meet-ups that DoubleTrouble has scheduled on the first page of this thread. I don't know the times or whether DoubleTrouble is waiting until we get on board or to see if there is any interest, I don't know.

I know I got tied up last time and didn't make it to as many of the meet ups that I wanted to. We are very close to the Secret Verhanda on Deck 7 if this is where the pre dinner cocktails are and I am definitely in for some adult tastings.

Still haven't decided what we are going to be doing in either port. But hey, I've got 30 days to decide right? Actually, probably we will probably just wing it. Had the best time winding it in Cabo last year!

We'll go final with the meetups around the first of the month. Trying to squeeze the beverage tasting schedule, among other things, out of DCL. I still have our old ones, but they do tend to vary a bit each cruise. As a minimum, I will get the schedule once onboard and have it available at the 3pm meetup for everyone to peruse.

The meetups in the port/terminal and after boarding (Promenade Lounge at 3pm) are firm already. Remember, the Promenade Lounge meetup is open to everyone, regardless of whether you are in the FE group or not.

More to follow, but look for maybe a coffee meetup and an evening secret verandah meetup on the Mon/Tue sea days. I'll be having a meetup with a cocktail on the secret verandah pretty much every day!
