our 7 year anniv is on 11/20
Looks like there are three or four DS ages 6-7, and also three or four ages 11-12, that is good!
I hope we have more people join this string.

DiszyGram-Thanks for the great list!! :thumbsup2 The name of the town we live in is Weston. Thanks!!

Lisa

OK, Lisa, changed it. I saw western twice when I looked at it. Shows how the mind can fool you. Pictured you looking out at the Gulf. :teeth: I do have a sister on the east coast in Cocoa Beach.

We need a way to get some activity on here. Thanksgiving 2007 is way ahead of us already. :worried: Looks like we have a quiet group on this cruise.

Everyone picked their excursions yet?

You can add us to the list for the Thanksgiving 2006 cruise. We have 3-cabins on Deck 2:

CABIN #1: Myself, DH, DD-9 and DS-8 (New Jersey)
CABIN #2: SIL, BIL and Niece-2 (2-months shy of 3 yrs old) (Pennsylvania)
CABIN #3: MIL (New Jersey) and Niece-11 (Pennsylvania)

This is my family and MIL's first Disney cruise. My SIL's family has cruised with Disney before.

We are looking forward to our cruise.

I agree!! This will be our 3rd year in a row on the Thanksgiving Magic!! :thumbsup2 This is the most "quiet" group of Turkeys. There is still time to get to know each other!! :thumbsup2 We are doing the city tour and stinray snorkel in GC and we are going parasailing the first day at CC.

NJDisneymomof2-
Welcome to the thread!! Our DS will be 7 by the time of the cruise!!

Lisa

Welcome njdisneymomof 2, added in your information. My daughter and I will be Atlantic City next month. :)

We are also on deck 2. My daughter is very prone to motion sickness and the lower decks have less motion. Sea bands work great for her in keeping away the motion problem. My grandson is 7 and already signed up for the kid's club.

Just checking in...DD 4.5 has been hounding me...how many days until the Dianey Cruise? So I finally counted- and then thought- I need a ticker!

Our extended family is having fun gathering pirate stuff so we can all dress up for the Pirates in the Carribean dinner & party. pirate:

I'm trying to figure out how many princess dresses I need to bring- it may be just one each.

I'm looking forward to seeing any holiday picture posts on the new thread.
Have a good day!

Hi-
We are all excited for our 1st Disney Cruise
We booked some excursions: Stingray City in Grand Cayman, fishing in CC, snorkeling in CC. Couldn't get any Palo ressies. My mom really wanted to do Brunch or High Tea but they are already taken :guilty: Nothing left.

Please tell your mom not to worry about Palo--once you board you can make Palo reservations in person, in one of the lounges on deck 3 I think. They don't release all of the times on line. :sunny:

If we counted correctly, 45 days until we board the Magic!!! :cool1: :thumbsup2 :sunny: :cool1: :thumbsup2

Hello everyone!!!

We are so excited to be joining you for a Thanksgiving Cruise. This will be DH and mine third Thanksgiving Cruise and DD second Thanksgiving Cruise (it was her first cruise last year on as she calls it the Mickey Boat)

Right now we are an inside stateroom, but hope to be able to upgrade as we get closer. We were just glad to get on. We are also doing the late seating because we like it better.

Who we are
Michelle 31
DH John 32
DD Jessica 2 (27 months when we board)

We live in sunny and very hot yesterday Florida and look forward to sailing with everyone.

I have not had the chance to read all the posts, but I will later tonight or tomorrow.

My daughter is so excited. All day she has been getting her shoes and telling us "go to Mickey Boat"

Michelle-Welcome to the thread!! :sunny: We also live in Florida and this is our 3rd Thanksgiving Magic--We sailed in 2004 and 2005. We are still excited to "go to the Mickey Boat"!!!

Lisa

We missed the 2004 Thanksgiving cruise since my daughter was born that August and the three hurricanes that slammed our house did not help the cause.

We live in Kissimmee at the Orlando-Kissimmee border....not sure if that is near you.

I am sure I saw you at some point last year. I remember all the green shirts on the one side of the boat as it sailed away from port.

Well I am going to make an attempt to read all these posts. So much to do. We just sat down with our daughter today to ask what character she wants on her door sign and what characters she wants on her pillow.

Off to read

ICEMANPAD,
Maybe I will learn to read. I see you live in Weston. My neighbor's son lives there and owns a dog grooming parlor there.

Michelle-

We were part of the "green" disboards group last year. Quite a few disers ordered the same shirts and we linked our dining reservations together--it was a lot of fun. However, I think we are the only "turkeys" from last year that are sailing again this year. A few have rebooked for 2007. My DH, Chuck, "stands out" in a crowd--he is 6'8"--difficult to miss him!! We will be wearing "dis green" again this year!! We look forward to meeting this year's group.
