Got them today. They are really cute. I was a little disappointed, the lasered writing is kind of white I was thinking it would be black and bolder. But my guess is that is because these glow in the dar and the white will definitely show up better. I will have to do a trial run in the dark!!

Dillon's will be ifne on his ankle, think Trevor's will have to hang out on the stroller though!

DH likes it, and I was hopeing to find it 4 him.

My DDs and I have been looking @ everyones photos..everyone looks so nice.
Keep them comming. They were also checking out the list for dds and ds their age...they are so excited about all the potential new friends..so are we cant wait to meet u all!

Captain Marvin's, Native Way or private charter?

Does anyone have an opinion or experience with these?

We are strong swimmer's and love to snorkel.

I do not have prior experience with any of the charters, but we booked NativeWay's Rums, Reef and Rays tour.
I researched it on the Cruise Critic website.
Good luck.

Thanks for the info on Houston flights. Last time we flew from Detroit to Orlando we got our tickets for $89 RT on Air tran. I guess the days of those prices are gone with fuel prices. In fact the new programs were talking about the Delta layoffs and saying that it may not be good this year to wait to buy tickets in hopes of getting a better deal because fuel prices are expected to continue to rise and thus ticket prices will rise too. What is everyone going to do? Book now or wait and see?

I keep checking prices everyday. Im still waiting on Jet Blue to release their fares and I will not book until they do so.

I read somewhere that you should clear your cookies before searching airline fares to make sure you get the lowest fare possible. It said the airlines have your cookies and won't show if prices are lowered from your previous search. I dont know how true this is, but I've been clearing my cookies before every search just in case
The cheapest Ive found so far from Newark to Orlando is $269 per person. That is way more than I want to pay right now. But from all this news it seems like it wont go down much.
Im going to wait though, its still over 6 months away.

We are celebrating by enjoying the Chicken Pox. This might be the only time since I booked the trip that I am GLAD it's not Nov 15th!

Hello everyone.
Here is a picture of Linda's (Bamblin) boys from Easter, Trevor & Dillon.

BTW, I received my bracelets today. They are ok, the letters are kinda small in my opinion, but there will be a white powder in the letters, if you take an old toothbrush or something you can brush it away, but then you can't really see what it says on it unless you look closely. They will serve the purpose of recognizing each other though.

Hey everyone!!!

I'm new to the thread! We booked about a month ago, and I'm finally getting to get back on the boards!

We have a group of 9 that will be joining in on the fun! Myself (Melissa) and my DS (Keegan, 5) did a 4 day on the Wonder in January, and we came back so excited, my sister decided it was time to take her family too. Of course, grandma and grandpa couldn't stay away from the fun, so we'll all be together!
It looks like there's a great group of people on the same trip-we can't wait!

I read about 5 pages so far,, and I'll come back for more-but if someone could fill me in on pertinent details of what you guys have arranged, that would be great!

Here's the rundown of our crew and how old the kiddos will be when we sail:

Me (Melissa) and DS (Keegan, 6)
Sis (Joyce), BIL (Chris), DNs (Lauren, 12; Sarah, 10; Kelsey, 6)
Grandma and Grandpa (Thoris and Frank)

This will be the first DCL for everyone but my son and I, but everyone has cruised before....

We're getting excited-let the planning begin!

OK...I am a cheat. I gave my kids the letter "F" today, as a rogue letter - in honour of April Fool's day.

I am giving them 1 letter a month (12 in total DISNEYCRUISE). They guessed correctly after three letters...even though they are scrambled. I had to put on my poker face. I am hoping the rogue letter throws them off.

My bracelets arrived a couple of days ago. I think they are perfect. For those of you who are new, read back...we are ordering bracelets so that we can find and identify each other on the boat - after all this chatting!!

The kids are still bespeckled but are back to school.

I haven't figured out photobucket yet...but I will!!!

Just thought I'd touch base as it's been quiet around here for awhile.

I can't wait! even though I am the most recent cruiser...I think that makes me even more anxious! It's still so fresh in my memory!

Plus, I did get spoiled on our last cruise...we were one of the lucky sailings that got a surprise Double Dip at Castaway Cay!!! It was amazing, I don't know how I'm going to handle only being there once this time!!!

I'm going to have to get bracelets and stuff ordered before long. I know I saw mention of a fish extender gift exchange going on, but to be honest, I havent combed through all 22 pages of messages yet. Is this happening? How are you guys working it? I know all of our little ones will think it's so exciting. Even the older ones still look forward to the surprises from Tink when we stay at Disney!

Glad to see you joining our crowd. MY DS Dillon will be a few weeks shy of turning 4, so I am sure he will try to follow your son around, he likes older kids, usually of course they have no use for him, LOL!

Don't feel bad about the fish extenders, I am not sure we have really figured out how we are doing it yet anyway. We will get it together at some point!

He actually thinks the younger kids are fun sometimes...though I think it's because he thinks he can tell them what to do and teach them all the "big kid" ways!
