Hi Shauna-

I'll do my best to convince my mom and dad to go to the Dis meet. I'd love William to have some friends!

They are flying in and out of LAX. From what I've read, Super Shuttle seems to be an ok choice. We've used them a few times to get to DL. Now added list of things to do is research and buy a booster seat for the van ride!

I got a bit stalled reading this thread, as I found some great trip reports of this itinerary.

Trying not to let myself get too emotional about being separated from him while he has all of these wonderful experiences. Thank goodness we're going to Disneyland soon or I'd really be loosing it!

Wow, that is a lot of 4 year olds...my 4 year old twins will be in heaven!

And those are just the 4 year olds from our group of 17 DISers. I hope they can all meet up so they have some friends in the clubs!

Depending on where they stay there might be a hotel shuttle. Are they flying home the day they get off the ship? If so, you can add a DCL transfer from the port to LAX.

I have read about people staying at the Double Tree and the Crown Plaza. They are flying home immediately after the cruise.

We are staying at the DoubleTree. I know someone else is staying at the Crowne Plaza. My MIL will be flying out of LAX on the 20th and taking DCL transportation.

INFORMATION OVERLOAD!

I'm only up to page 12 in this thread I have a long way to go!

So.... We haven't figured out how to tell the kid that he's going yet. We won't be leaving until the last second (ie, airport or port) because I want to be there. I'm not really sure he's going to 'get' it. We've been talking about Disneyland forever. This might throw him for a loop!

Wow! Good luck with the party. We had a total of seven 4 year olds at DD's party last week and it was busy .

Holy moly... we leave in less than a WEEK!

I can't even focus on this honestly.... we are putting out house on the market the DAY before we leave. It's nutty, but at the same time I am THRILLED we will be gone for the first 10 days when there are likely to be more showings. Keeping the house up with 2 small kids sounds more than slightly daunting... eep!

Can't wait to meet you all! We got our FE in the mail today and my 5 year old thinks it's the coolest thing ever.

Not on your cruise, but wanted to ask if anyone has Sophie from Australia's Gold Coast as their server, please give her a big hug from the Taylor family! We sailed the Wonder to Alaska in August & she was the best!!! Your cruise will be her 2nd back from her break.

It was a tad bit stressful, but we knew that we had the cruise to look forward to . The kids had a great time so I guess it was a success.

I'm franticly putting things together. I'm a vintage/antique dealer and I have a huge show that I load in for tomorrow and runs Friday through Sunday. Couple that with getting the kidlet ready for this cruise and I'm a WRECK! He still doesn't know.

We're going to have Mickey call and tell him about the trip TONIGHT!!
