OkW refurb

Any idea how long the refurb at OKW will take? Assuming they will just go with a few buildings at a time?

My fave DVC to stay at and really looking forward to what they can do with the Studio setup. Looking forward to seeing some photos of the finished product. I am staying there this April. No expectation for a refurbed room but also booking for Jan 2027 and hope to get the opportunity to stay in one then.

It's actually more than a refresh. They are doing hard goods updates as well. The kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms will be replaced.

I am curious as to why, since the resort got a complete refurb in ~2017-2019 where nearly everything was updated.

I'm holding out hope for murphy beds - especailly in the studios! Not sure how they'd place them in the grand villas.... one can hope!
