I'm happy to say I will be starting a new job soon, but sad to say I had to move my cruise date out a year. As result, I will no longer be sailing with all you fine people! I was looking forward to meeting some of you!

so has anybody started to figure out plans for cozumel or grand cayman or even castaway cay?

This is all about the beach for us, so with a 2 year old in tow we've decided to do the DCL beach excursions for Grand Cayman and Cozumel. We're going to try to get a cabana on one of the CC days.

Ohhhhhhhhhh So your closer then where we live in NEW JERSEY is what you meant!!! No BG on this trip!! My DS isn't much for rides so it would be a waste!! But we went to Jamestown yesterday and Yorktown today and besides the heat, and a downpour that only lasted about 30 min, it wasn't bad weather!! Oh, and we had my DW to the Medi Clinic twice so far for allergic reactions!!!

Shellfish we think!! She's never been allergic to it before, but we came to Williamsburg and she had shrimp Sat night and had a break out, and then had crab dip last night and had another allergic reaction, so we think that's what it is!!

Just booked our flights woohoo!!!!! FINALLY!!! Seems like I have been waiting forever for Jetblue to open their bookings This just makes it soooooo much more real! I cannot wait for this trip!

Generally speaking, booking on your own outside of Disney is always cheaper. However, if you want every detail cared for, and the ship to wait if the excursion is late returning, then Disney is the ticket for that, even though it does cost more.

Yes I booked privately for Cozumel, we have the past few times. This time we used www.cozumelwatersports.com to book. Cheaper....yes, plus they offer a bit more choices than the cruise line does. I wanted to do a Mexican cooking class and we have already done the one thru DCL, so I booked independently to make sure it was not the same one as we did previously Also we added on horseback riding for an hour for $25, which I think is a GREAT price! It's not so much an issue of being able to get what we want thru DCL per say, but in our case we had already experienced the excursion that they have to offer so I have no problems browsing around to find what we want

We don't have any issue with getting back to the ship on time, as long as you are responsible and aware, it's not a big deal Plus I am a bit OCD and a bit of a planner so I like to be in control whenever possible
