Hi C&D&F! WELCOME BACK!!!! I am new to the boards since you were otherwise occupied! They were saving post 1900 just for you (I didn't realize) and I barged right in! Obviously we shot way past that post and a lot did happened since then, however I will let one of the originals fill you in (their posts are sooo much more entertaining than mine) ! Even though I wasn't on beforehand, I have heard a lot about you guys and am so glad that you & lakeworthdad have checked in...I know a lot of minds have now been put at ease!

Hang in there! We will all be enjoying cool drinks and lots of fun so very soon now!

New folks, oh boy - Welcome all.......I'll try to catch up - thanks for the list, it was great of you to add the new folks....

And still no time for wine-tasting - hum.....You will be proud of us that our cruise wine is still intact. We have (had) a curfew and no booze sales in effect.....another downside of the storm. Friends driving through brought us ice and beer....no margarita's though.....Deck 10 and a libation sounds very good right now.....

Must find the cruise docs....they were placed into a secure spot at the advice of Dinsnurse, I think.... Then I need to find the suitcases which were put away to make room in the spare bedroom for Mother. Then, I need to find my lists, which seem all to say "Get Ice"....etc.

So, are we still on for a mini-meet at 6:30 at the Radisson pool the night before the cruise, for those in town, and without surprises?

Let's pray we get our power back soon. The phones at home are on, sorta - about every 5th call......

Ok, here is our info. I am a Sales Coordinator for a well known company that does corporate consulting and leadership training. I love to scuba dive and spend time with my family. Dom is a Sales Engineer for a telecom company. He loves baseball and football. My brother and his new wife will be on this cruies with us as well. This will be a first cruise on DCL for all of us.

Uh, yes - lots and lots and lots and lots.....well, not that much 'cause we really (ok DH really) broke our backs for the last 7 days so that we could 1. Get the fence rebuilt - which entailed removing lots of vegetation (me) and digging fence holes about 3 feet down (him) and holding up fences (me) and nailing new pickets (him) - and he did not hit my hands once. (or his).....

I saw that too! We were in 20 foot seas last November on our last night on a Southern Caribbean cruise. It was pretty wild. When I was pregnant with Haley I was on a Carnival ship escorting a group and the seas got 25 feet - that I don't ever want to see again! You can't walk - you almost roll out of bed! So no more storms for me!

C&D&F - so glad you got power back! The hot shower must have felt awesome!
