I can't believe it!! I just typed this huge post and it PooFed away on me!

Here's the short version... Pat, sign me up. Just don't expect great things from me. My basement (that has the scrapbook area) is STILL under construction. Zib's bedroom has been stripped down and is under way as well. Six coats of Chinese Red paint so far. It's something to see!

Can't tell you all how much I can't wait to get away come October! Very needed, whether I deserve it or not.

We are a bunch of busy little bees aren't we? I know I haven't had nearly enough time to post lately. But, I am managing to get my house so clean. You would hardly believe it is the same house. I have cut back my hours at work and have been spending more time with the family. So, still just a little time for computer time outside of work. Today's chores include: painting the handrail for the front of the house, pull all the weeds from the landscape areas, distribute 2 TONS of decorative rock and feed all the new shrubs we planted this year. Should be another full day. But as long as I keep busy, I don't have a chance to eat. As of this morning, I have lost 15.2 pounds!! It is a good day.

Correction - 3.1 TONS!!

Welcome!! We're looking forward to this, our very first cruise, and making new friends, too....We're traveling with DS8 and DD5...I'm hoping they'll like the clubs and DH and I can have maybe an hour here and there....but, then, I'm sure conversation will still be dominated by them...

Hi Everyone,
I have not posted in a while but I have been lurking.
I am getting more and more excited each day. Two years with no Disney of any kind is just about more than I can handle.

I had a quick question. Our previous cruises have all been in October. Will any of the holiday decorating be started on the ship during our November cruise? I read a post from someone that was on the 11/15/04 cruise who said that decorating had started them & more was added each day of the cruise. That would be great. I have never seen the ship decked out for the holidays.

Something else to look forward to.

Hey GrayFal....just read part of your trip report as part of another thread about things you didn't like and I LOVED your list format and all of the great info on what to do, what not to do, and things you wish you had done!

Thanks for the great tips....I have a less than two month countdown to our first DCL experience on the Magic....yup, it's true....haven't even been yet but we are already booked for a second trip with you guys!
