Good Morning All!

Can I just say that the men in my family have the capacity to drive me even nuttier then my PPM (porkroll packing mom)! Last night they all tried on their dress pants and they actually fit. I thought all was good until I mentioned that we needed to get some dress shoes.....that's when the fits began. My DH actually had the audacity to say that his black sneakers WERE his dress shoes. The boys followed suit and I wound up throwing my arms in the air and leaving the room while they all stood there shirtless in their dress pants holding sneakers..............

where's that tequilla?

I wished I had a camera to take a pic of that. How funny yet so true. I could get the same answers at my house....and do....

i am working tonight and then monday night and then i am FREE!!!!! we leave wed night so if anyone has any last minute distag questions ask soon as i will be gone from the internet......

In case I don't get to say this but thanks for all your help with the distag. We will see you in a few days. Have a safe trip. Making it short since I have 10 pages to get caught up on plus watch my Dancing with the Stars, washing and the chat tonight. So much to do so little time. See you soon!!!

Just finished up my SECOND TO THE LAST day at work! Yeah!!! AND tomorrow is a company pic-nic lunch AND the bosses are taking us to dinner for all the hard work on political stuff.


Peg and I are experiementing tonight for chat...using two laptops at her house. Gotta run and get some CHOCOLATE CAKE and head to Peg's

OH!!!! AND......I've accumulated $170 in birthday money!!!!!!

AND....I received a BEAUTIFUL floral tribute from my SWEET sister and brother-in-law. It' so pretty, everyone at work is fighting over who gets it when I leave for vacation

For somebody who isn't celebration her birthday today......that's pretty good, eh?

As a guy I would just like to say that a I think visiting a Mexican hardware store would be interesting. So would visiting a Mexican Bowling Alley, Sports Bar, Sporting Goods Store and dare I say Hooters (just to see if the Mexican Buffalo wings are as good of the American ones, of course).

Let see, there are about 300 to 1 dress or shoe stores to hardware stores in the good ole USA but you ladies still want to go dress shopping. And then make fun of us guys for wanting to widen our intellectual and international knowledge of how things work by visiting a Hardware store. The shame!

And for the Duct tape. No way I would come back with any. Don't need it. Already packed 2 rolls for the trip.

Hello All,

I can not believe it. Less than 48 hours to the alisbarc 6 pile into the good ole mini van and start our 2 day journey to the Cape.

Dee, I can not believe your work would give you a hastle with you trying to cure your ailment by using Grandma's sure fire cure. The problem is obviosly your delivery method. You must have the proper drinking apparatus. I suggest an empty Pepsi can. Just put the proper dosage into the can, take a big swig and say "I really like coke better, pepsi is just to sweet for me". No one will suspect a thing.

Mom2of2, looking forward to handing with you and your gang also. Our 8 year old math whizzes can keep us all entertain on the ride to the ruins.

Chaos in the house here during the final frantic minutes of packing. DS13 picked up a couple of items off the bed and asked DW what they were. She said one was a bra insert and the other was a special female item. He ran off looking rather pale and white and is now feverously washing his hands all the way up to the elbows. DS7 & 8 now want to pack half the toy room. Sheesh, the hardly ever play with the darn toys and now there acting like they will be leaving their best friends for life. If they keep up the whinning I am going to show them another good use for duct tape and then administer another dose of Grandma's remedy to myself.... think I am getting a head ache.

I have them left over from last year and I found that they didn't work!!!! You can get them on the ship, at the gift store

You may be better off taking the Bonnine. It is chewable and works great. I get deathly ill on plane take offs. The worst for me is take offs. Once I'm up and I've had about an hour in the air I'm okay without the Bonnine. But that first hour I am very close friends with the little bag. I never once had to take on the boat. My problem is flights and it works great.

Hoping everyone who's feeling the bug gets over it quickly. It's here too, I had it horribly last week, all in the head, felt like I was living outside my body for 3 days. Now 8 y.o. DS is fighting it and DH and 5 y.o. DS are showing signs too! ARGH! Better today than Saturday! Pumping everyone full of everything I've got including the humidifiers pumping Vick's Vaporizer into the air in the boys' rooms.

Nothing a little salt air (and the drink of the day) won't cure!

My Dh has a similar remedy and it really works. He uses Benedictine(sp?) knocks any bug on its butt. He keeps telling me to rinse my mouth with vodak to kill the tooth ache pain. It funny he doesn't drink at all but uses it strickly for medicinal purposes.

Hope you're crew is all feeling better. I remember the Dr telling me babies can not get strep throat. I remember being really worried about it when Angelina was a infant and Vito had gotten strp. Not sure if it true but I hope so.Sending some your way.

There is a liquior called B & B which is Brandy and Benedictine and that stuff will also cure you. It clears the nasal passages right up. It is a very good after dinner drink. The kind you sip though
