The weather here at the Wilderness Lodge is wonderful this morning. It is cool and clear skies.

Last night, when we arrived, it was raining Goofys and Donalds.

Has anyone else been checking the weather for the places we'll be cruising? I've been checking the 10 day forecast for a couple weeks. Cozumel has said rain and storms every day! What's up with that? Bahamas not much better. By far the best weather is in Cape Canaveral. Maybe we can all board and then just cruise around the port area for a week.

Hopefully they are wrong and we'll have some sun.

As DW said, my suitcase is packed. I also ironed all of my dinner clothes and my pirate costume.

Today is my last day at work. Got a lot to get done before the day is over, but I'm going to squeeze in taking the team out to lunch.

We hit the road tomorrow afternoon. We're meeting our friends (obx1ab) about 1 1/2 hours from home and convoying it from there.

Can't hardly believe it's finally here!!!!!

Wendy, I just wanted to say "Thanks" to you for your good citizenship! That's a long day and I know folks grumble about taking the time to vote and don't even think of you volunteers who are giving up a whole day so we can!

[Disney81, hope things are going well for you today and you get the OK to travel. (Please tell me you have trip insurance.) I forgot which day you said you are traveling. We'll be flying out of Phoenix on the morning of the 10th and I'm wondering if my sister will be embarrassed if I stand up on the plane and yell out "Anybody cruising Disney?"

mom2of2, I'll also keep an eye out for your PPM in the early hours on deck 9...perhaps you should warn her

SURLEY! Glad the weather has cleared. Don't you just LOVE the Wilderness Lodge? (Remind you of the Grand Californian?) I had the best ever room there in Jan '05, had a vew of the castle and watched the fireworks from our balcony one night. If you do MK today or tomorrow, please post and tell us about the kids (and the grownups) reaction to "The BIG Disneyland".

TiggersPal finished all our door signs and guess what? The all have TIGGER on them! There will be NO QUESTION as to who's room it is The Tigger Sisters!

After I posted my last note, I passed out, had a seizure and stopped breathing at work. The good thing is I work at a hospital and and my co-workers called a code blue. The bad news is the Drs are not sure what is going on and I am still hospitalized. We are supposed to fly out on the 9th, with me luck. Robyn

You have my prayers. Are they giving you any information on whether they might let you fly out at all?

Dee's right, cruise insurance is so important, and will really help out if needed.

I can imagine how disappointed and worried you are------please be sure that you can safely travel. You don't want to be looking for medical care in the middle of the sea.

The rain last night was crazy!!! But we really needed it. Central FLa has had a really dry year. Today is beautiful!!!!!I am sure you guys are out and about enjoying the most magical pre-cruise place on earth. If you need anything give me a call. When you take the boat back from the MK you always stop at Fort Wilderness. It is one of my favorite places on Disney property. They do a great campfire with Chip and Dale every night followed by a movie. Also TRAILS INN has a great buffett. Have fun.
