I hope he is feeling better soon. I am thinking about keeping Angelina home from school after today to help keep her healthy.

We just came the way of the squirting child. I feel your pain. I'm sending a no diarrhea dance your way. :dancer:

Thank you for the heads up about WDW we leave tomorrow. I'll bring little bottles of hand sanitizer for everyone. All we'd need is to get on the ship and get sick!

Get well soon little guy!

on this day in history yep all that too, and my parent got married in 1971 and six years later (1977) Jackie was born, and 23 years and one day
(11-8-2000) DD was born. WOW what a busy week. :teeth: ;) :yay:

Happy Birthday Jackie

Here I was minding my own business and printing my door signs (final copy) and :badpc: the printer goes boom. I have had HP printer for 10 years and I have never had one break. That streak all but came to an end last night. I went to staples and bought the cheapest printer they had. $30 I hope it works it is a Lexmark. I was planning on asking Santa for a new one. Ah well this one is four years old and I do a LOT of printing. I want the one that does 13x 18 or something like that.
OK and that is not even the best part yesterday Becca (my youngest) broke her glasses. YEA. They have a 1 year guarantee but I don’t think we have time to get them fixed. So she is wearing her old glasses and I am with out a nose piece on mine (since I took it off to replace hers.) thank goodness for contacts.

well we are really falling apart now......

thanks for the heads up on the sickness...i will be using my hand cleaner like crazy at the parks!!!!!

I got a case from work if any one wants some. It is in a dispenser pack but it is the same stuff. I was planning on brining 2 packs let me know if any one wants some.

Target has travel bottles of it. I am just going to refill the small bottles I have.

Spotdude, I don't know if this will help your glasses situation at all, but I'm gonna throw it out there. I am quite nearsighted and worried (yes, I worry about everything, people!) about breaking my glasses on the ship and not being able to see a thing the rest of the trip. So I just bought THREE pair of prescription glasses on eBay. The best part? THREE PAIR for UNDER $100!! I paid $400 for my last pair at the optometrist. I am very pleased with them. Anyway, the store on eBay was eyeglassfactoryoutlet. I think they also have an outright website, too, maybe. But they are based in Florida. If you have your daughter's prescription, they might be able to get them together quickly and just mail them to the boat. Most frames are like $9.50 and you get the lenses for $19.50. Somewhere along those lines. Like I said, I bought three pair (one prescription sunglasses) and have been pleased with all.
Might be worth a shot!

WOW I din't even know you could do that on Ebay and I do a lot there. Thanks. She is ffar sighted and can see with out them. I have a spare pare of glasses and I am going to bring 3 pair of contacts.

I worry about getting that nasty virus ON the ship and wiping out a vacation that's been planned for a year! 'Cause if your kid gets sick, then a parent has to stay in the room, too, and that means at least two in your party has just lost a vacation!
Anyway to build up some kind of immunity beforehand? Lots of fruits or something? Or is it just all wrapped around the handwashing? If there are that many sick children around already, we might be in for it! And does it come and go fairly quickly? So you might still have a chance to have fun if you are afflicted?
I noticed on the main thread that it was on the 10/28 sailing. How common is this virus on the ship, reckon? Like, is it one out of 10 sailings? Or more or less? I just wondered statistically how likely it is to affect a sailing.

spotdude,

Can you go to Lenscrafters or something and get them within an hour? I've had to do that more then once when my DS broke his...thank god he now wears contacts!

well the squirting has subsided...funny how that happens shortly after the bus has come.

miatamel....I haven't a clue but I wash all the time onboard and they do have hand sanitizer before walking into any restaurant
