"about 1 hour after the ship docks" would translate to 8:30am. If you want to meet beforehand, we can pick a place to meet. Atrium sound okay to everyone? I'll PM the people on my list. If you get the PM, and you are part of a group of say... 14 or so people, please relay the info to your group. If you want to just meet at the large bus at the port, let me know that too, so that we aren't waiting for you in the Atrium. Sound good?

Since I've done my fair share of shameless posting - here's something you might enjoy

Hey everyone!

If you're looking for a little activity for your kids to do while you're travelling, Toy's R Us has the great things called "Magnetic Scenes" by Crayola. In it there are different pictures that you color with the enclosed pencil crayons. Then the pictures separate to form individual magnets. They have different themes (we chose Disney Princess and Cars) so nobody on deck 8 pick those :rotfl: . They are quite small but it would be a fun way to let your kids contribute to decorating your stateroom door. It should also provide us with about 10 min. of sanity on the flight. :thumbsup2

One note... be sure to put and identifying mark ie; stateroom # in small print on any magnets you put on your door and bring them in at night. I read that late at night there have occasionally been gremlins :tiptoe: that swipe them off the door if you leave them out.

Happy coloring!

Tracey

These sound so cool and like the perfect thing to keep a coupla monkeys busy in port for a while, but I cannot find them anywhere! I looked at Toys R Us (they're not even on their website), Target and Walmart.

Now it's like a quest, a challenge, I must find them! LOL!

Michael's website shows they have Spongebob ones, maybe the stores have updated with Disney too! I'll check tonight!

Can anyone recommend a car service to use from WDW to PC and again from PC to MCO? I was going to call Happy Limo but I've read such neg. reviews about them I'm really leary about booking them.

Anyone used Happy or any other company that they'd recommend?

Thanks,

Tracey

I know someone who has used *********** and has been very happy with them. If you need the phone number I can get it for you but you should be able to find them on switchboard.com - they are out of Orlando.

Linda...Peg's not bringing enough shoes...maybe she could fit some of yours into her suitcase...

Carolyn

Wendy...I emailed David/Ivan yesterday and they responded today (yeah!) and, yes, we are still on their list for the tour.

Michelle...Thank you for the weather report. Been checking Orlando every day! I'm ok with cooler, but would like to order up a two week's serving of "no rain!"

MommaDukesSon...if you must kick your mother out of the house, tell her she can come live with us in sunny CA. Oh, and I believe you are a REAL DISer, as you made it to chat before you even posted.

Carolyn, 3 more nights!!!!!

I skip the boards one night, and there's a gazillon posts. Now I'm finally caught up.

Last night I went to a concert. It was the 40th anniversary tribute to a landmark album.

Music trivia question: What is the name of the album?

Woody

Is it the Beatles Rubber Soul album?

Thanks Tracey I have two 6 year olds and that is right up their alley. I plan on checking it out Monday. Thanks again for sharing.

Also the Disney store has some really nice pirate shirts on sale this week. Try and check it out too.

Well good evening cruisers!
One week from now I hope to be at Grills enjoying a pre-cruise dinner and waiting for my friends to arrive from NY.
Today was really productive for me. Went to the WOD at DTD and got our last needed pirate items and my Distag items!! Still have to find shoes for Angelina. The ones to bought yesterday don't fit. Hopefully I can find her something wide enough before we cruise otherwise she will be wearing her lime green crocs on formal night!
Packing shoes is always such a problem...really wish my lime green athen crocs went with everything.By Sunday I want to be completely finished with packing.
It looks like will will reach 5500 posts by Sunday night. How many do you think we will reach by next Saturday?

Is anyone else with little kiddos doing the Dolphin Discovery at Cozumel? It is a 20 minute taxi ride from the ship and I was wondering what everyone is doing for car/booster seats? My kids both still need a booster and I'm wondering if I should ship them down to the ship or if there is another option.

Any ideas?

Tracey
Yes My mother enlaw my neice 12 nephew 10 dd 9 ddwill be 6.

Tracey, the taxis in Mexico scare me already! I know boosters are not required in Mexico (I was even in a taxi in 2005 that did not have seat belts). Scarey! Not sure what would be the best thing to do. Don't most boosters only work with shoulder belts? Not sure if the rear of the taxi would have those (depends on how old the vehicle is).

Very, very far astray. I don't vote "right" (pun intended) and I breastfeed my toddler in public. It's a wonder I haven't been thrown out of the League of Southern Belles. However, I'm given a pass because I still follow that most important, hallowed of Southern Belle rules.....
I don't wear white shoes before Easter or after Labor Day!!

Melanie

lol you are funny can't wait to meet ya :rotfl2:
