Well good evening cruisers!
One week from now I hope to be at Grills enjoying a pre-cruise dinner and waiting for my friends to arrive from NY.
Today was really productive for me. Went to the WOD at DTD and got our last needed pirate items and my Distag items!! Still have to find shoes for Angelina. The ones to bought yesterday don't fit. Hopefully I can find her something wide enough before we cruise otherwise she will be wearing her lime green crocs on formal night!
Packing shoes is always such a problem...really wish my lime green athen crocs went with everything.By Sunday I want to be completely finished with packing.
It looks like will will reach 5500 posts by Sunday night. How many do you think we will reach by next Saturday?
Michelle, Sarah and I both bought "Mary Jane" style crocs at the store at the airport...Sarah's are baby Blue and look adorable with her blue 'Cindy' gown....and I think mine are kinda cute, too.
Angelina will be very comfortable and stylish in them.

I have created my own name Finnally! A week and a wake up but I am sure that you already knew that!

So you're a son of a fairey, are you me matey? How nice. pirate:

Well just to let everyone know the cat has been let out of the bag. Everyone can relax. We don't have to be hyper anymore :hyper2: Faireygodmother's son knows his father and wicked stepmother will be on the cruise. With only 7 days to go how close but life goes on. :sad2: He was very excited which is what his mother and I wanted most!! :love1: Thanks to everyone for all the warnings when we were in chat and posting online. :grouphug: It was nice having everyone there helping and supporting Faireygodmother and I. :thanks:
Sorry MommaDukesSon we both tried our hardest to surprise you! :love1:
See you all on the ship a week from tomorrow!!!!Pinkbounc :woohoo: :yay:  :bounce: :disrocks:

ChiChiHoney/Sarah....

I got your email, I have to get my traders out too!

And we will be getting Castaway Club lanyards, right????

Okay, need you sweet people to weigh in with opinions...
booked my room last December. Specifically went with midship (motion sickness) and starboard (view). Got a room with a TERRIBLE (1) stateroom report. Could not get another 6 all year (according to DU) that wasn't a connecting, which DH didn't want. I've fretted about it all year.
Now, there are 8 each Cat 4,5,6s left. Cat. 4 are $840 to upgrade now--not gonna happen (as much as I would love the little extra room.) There is now a Cat 6 open midship, starboard available I could switch to, but my DU agents thinks I'm not better off due to it being right at the stairs/elevator. Can change to a Cat. 5 for $200 that is aft/starboard--looks to be decent location. However, there is no change in room size for the money--strictly deck. If I change, I will have to change all the distag bag stuff (don't lose me!! i want my tag bags!!) and all my little notes on photo mats for sigs and magnets, etc etc. Have to change birthday celebration I ordered, etc.
So, what to do? what to do? Is it worth it for peace of mind? What if I make things worse? What if I move from a verandah where nobody smokes next door to chain smokers on the verandah???!! Aaack!!
Y'all weigh in please. I need to do something soon. Anybody been in a 5 & 6? Is deck 7 better than six? Are stairs/elevators a noise problem?
I would LOVE to hear what y'all have to say. Please!!

So big deal you have your own name. :rotfl2: Why are you on here don't have anything to do. Well now you are in the world of DISers and there are rules that must be met. One being you must wear your lime green bracelet. That is a command from your wicked step mother!!! he he he

Between myself, DH, and DDs, we have 17 pairs of crocs. I think five of those now are Mary Janes. They are BY FAR our favorites--really, really cute on and get noticed and at least look a little "dressier." I was told at a store two weeks ago when I went to get a gold pair that they are sold out, even at Crocs. Maybe they are catching up...perhaps they will have my size at MCO store. But I have no idea how we are going to pack all those crocs plus our dress shoes and pirate shoes!!

I like to be near the stairs & elevator -my room is 2 or 3 doors down from the forward elevators, very convenient....

I couldn't even find these on Crayolas web site. Sorry--was hoping I could run them down for y'all. Thought maybe they were an old product, but that wouldn't be the case if they had them for Cars. Dunno...

These sound so cool and like the perfect thing to keep a coupla monkeys busy in port for a while, but I cannot find them anywhere! I looked at Toys R Us (they're not even on their website), Target and Walmart.

Now it's like a quest, a challenge, I must find them! LOL!

Michael's website shows they have Spongebob ones, maybe the stores have updated with Disney too! I'll check tonight!

WOODY.....

1966 was REVOLVER....were there ANY other ablums released that year?????

Now I'm going to be singing "Got To Get You Into My Life" all day today.
Jackie: Very good guess. Close, but no cigar.

A hint: Paul McCartney said that one of the tracks on "this" album is his favorite song.

OMG...I cannot beleive we are at 5300 + posts. I maybe very wrong, we may make the 5500 after all.

Is it the Beatles Rubber Soul album?

Tammy
Tammy: Nice try.

A hint: "This" album greatly influenced the Beatles' "Sgt. Peppers" album, released in 1977.

If any one of you have palo reservations. I was on the Sept double dip and had dinner at Palo with Alex as our server, we had the best Champagne, But for the life on me I cannot remember the name. It was a red sweet and cost about 42.00. Would any one consider asking at palo for the name and let me know when you get back?

Thank you in advance.

Well, I may be the wrong person to ask in this case.....being a fan of deck 7 aft/starboard and all! But on my deck map, which has been in front of my computer for 18 months...the ONLY cabin with a big black 'x' through it is 6556, probably because I read the stateroom report about the high pressure water lines being especially noisy at night. But you are right, you run the risk of problems in any stateroom, with noisy/smoking neighbors or just malfunctions in that stateroom. Are the kids sound sleepers? You and hubby could bring earplugs just to be safe. Deck 6 is really probably better for you, being only one flight of stairs from the kids activities.

Hard call.

OK, my second guess is "Pet Sounds" the Beach Boys.

I loved the "Lovin Spoonful" they had a great album that year too!
