Wind is upto 40 MPH and heavy rain now and we are just at the begining. One week from now we will be on the other end, great weather and fun times.

Working like crazy and have set some things out to pack, but no packing yet. DD has her lists and has started pulling all of her outfits together. Ahh youth...

Hi! My DIS name is too easy to figure out! Yup, I am an RN.......specialized in Neonatal Intensive Care...........13 years and I know nothing more than babies, babies, and more babies!

I can't help but notice those adorably perfect looking triplets!
The three little piggies! I am SURE they were somewhat premies and landed themselves in an NICU for a while. Hugs to you guys for all that endures in such an experience! Congrats! You are doing exactly what I would be doing with my clan of children!................ taking them on the most awesome vacation ever! We spoil our two kids and you have even MORE reason to celebrate!

DisNurse, like PurplePrincess - THANK YOU!!! I know this is a bit off topic...but I cried when I read your post - we too have a soft spot for NICU Nurses. Our little guys were born at 34 weeks 5 days - 5.7, 5.4 and 4.12. One was healthy enough to stay with me and the other two remained in the NICU for several days following. Those were some very "stressful" days and the NICU nurses and staff were so wonderful to us! Thankfully all three are extremely healthy and doing perfectly well today. We have much to be thankful for and realize what a true gift it is to have healthy triplets. What you do as NICU nurse is so important and those nurses not only serve those tiniest of babies, but also help the parents in numerous ways, as well. Anyways...Thank you for what you do!!!

And PurplePrincess, I'm glad that your little guy is healthy too!!! Yipee!!
We are so looking forward to our FIRST REAL vacation since having TRIPLETS!!!

Yikes I just saw you are from Martha's Vineyard. Good luck today! I thought it was bad being in SouthEast Mass, but the vineyard is worse. Good luck and see you in a week.

Hello Everyone!

My name is pretty much self explanatory. Our last name is Smye and it is our first Disney Cruise!(hopefully not our last!) I will be lucky if dh even brings a tie as he hates dressing up! We have not cruised together before solely to avoid formal nights and formal attire. So I promised him I would not give him a hard time on his dress code as long as he is comfortable right? On the other hand my dd(turning 6 on cruise) and myself will always be dressed to the nines and fufilling our "princess" dreams. Yes tiaras are included! Cant wait to meet you all and I may have to try to figure out how to post our picture. I am somewhat computer challenged to say the least!!

P.S. Only 6 more sleeps!!

Hi all!

I may not be visiting much today since part of Noel is passing right over MA. today! Not sure if we will have power later the way they have been talking. Looks like heavy rains, flooding, and winds up to 40-50mph I will check in later to let you know how we made out. For now though I think I will shut down the computer to be on the safe side.

For those of you with the sinus issues, I went to the DR. yesterday and got on an antibiotic. I have flown with a sinus infection before and it isn't fun, so I would recomend going to the Dr. before you fly.

We are bracing for the remnants of Noel today also! Out here on the Eastern end of LI, it's suppossed to get pretty bad today. I hope it's not too bad for any of us!

The Dr. Prescribed Zithromax so I can be done in 5 days. Zithromax is kind of hard on my stomach and I am feeling little stabs every now an then. The Dr. also said I had a lot of fluid in my right ear. That would feel great on the plane! Ouch! You know that moms can't be sick right? I am trying to clean up a little and put Halloween stuff away and get to my mounds of laundry.

I am praying that no one gets any storm damage!

It's very windy and rainy here, but so far, not too bad.

I wish I could say that we only had 4 bags, but it seems like it's going to be 9 for us. There are 5 of us though, so I guess that's not too outrageous.

My DH and I are sleepers but if the kids are up I will be there to get my blood pumping for the day.
