November 10, 2007 - MAGIC - Eastern

OMG!:thumbsup2 Ya' just gotta love a person who is booked for TWO Disney Cruises before even one of them has sailed!:rotfl: That rocks! We were in the same boat (so to speak!) before our very first sailing! Had already determined this vacation was so awesome before the Nov 2005 sailing, we booked the Nov. 2006 Double Dip!

Of course, my instincts were correct and now we find ourselves addicted to DCL!

I do want those new ships to be built, however!.........for variety!

Yup, DIS NURSE is still here and we are hoping for second seating, LAPLAPL

I plan on seeing the three main theater shows on the sea days at 2 PM with the kids to free up our evenings, as they are the EXACT SAME THREE SHOWS WE have seen already. They are fabulous, don't get me wrong, but the recent navigators show them being shown at 2 PM sea days, thus allowing us to see things we haven't explored yet!:woohoo:

Shhhh! Don't tell anyone, but we are also booked on the May 2008 westbound Panama Canal cruise. Shhhh!

Good strategy. I've seen so many children, after a long day, fall asleep during the stage shows.

That's good to know, because I'd rather take the kids during the day to free up the evenings too! Thanks:)

Good morning gang!!!! 7 days now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok now, my turn, so because we are from a part of Canada that speak french (Quebec) I choose French=our language snow= because we have lots of it here and white=just because of the snow!!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl:

But all together, its also one of my favorite princess Snow White!!!!!

One other thing. Never cruised before, so I don't know the difference between the rotation for dinner. Is there on better then the other one????

After reading everyone else's meanings, mine is completely boring!! Phelps is my maiden name, and as a kid a lot of my parents friends called my Dad Phelpsie - it was even his cb call name back in the days when cb's were popular. The 70 is for the year I was born.

From what I've read, a lot of people want a certain rotation so that they will be in Lumiere's or Animator's Palate on formal night. I guess some feel that it is not as formal in Parrot Cay so they don't like to have formal night there. I don't really mind, because the important thing to me on formal night is the portraits, and those aren't taken in the dining room. ;)

Hey gang! Had an idea this morning;

could everyone post a picture of the cruising party????

I could post a picture of my husband & I

That way we could see these picture for 7 days before we cruise, and we could easily reconized each other.

CAn we do this?????????????

Thanks for the explanation!!!!

Leslie,
I hope you like Coronado Springs! I was really considering staying there after the cruise but chose Carribean Beach Club instead. My brother is an Architect for Disney and this was one of his first projects!

That is too cool about your brother designing Carribean Beach! :cool1: We have a friend who stayed there and loved it. I tried to convince DH to stay an extra few days and go to WDW, but he refused. I can't really blame him, my parents bought DVC and are using their points so that my whole family can stay at Saratoga Springs in March, so he doesn't want to go this year.

Unfortunately, the March WDW trip is going to be the reason he will never let me rebook onboard. I'm going to try to work on him to book a ghost date and then change it when the 2009 itineraries come out, but I doubt it will happen. :sad2: So my plan is to enjoy the heck out of this cruise since I don't know when or if we'll go again.

Another reason is the staggered starting times. Main seating is at 5:30 if you start with Animators Palat, 5:45 at Parrot Cay, and 6:00 at Lumeirres. At least that is what they did last year.

Looks like we're in the same boat....
Seriously, I know my dh will fall in love with DCL, but we have 3 kids, and we already have an other cruise booked with an other cruise line less expensive...

I would love for us to do a special cruise like in summer of 2009 with our kids, but we cannot afford to put 10 000$ :scared1: on 1 vacation alone.......:guilty:

We try to go on vacation twice a year, one year is both with children and the other year is one with kids, and one with no kids.......

This year, is a lucky year:rolleyes1
This is gonna be our 3rd vacation, and this one is for us!!!!!:woohoo:

Ok, people only 7 days to go!:cool1:

My name is boring also. The Y is my first name initial, and the bells is because people could never pronounce my maiden name properly(Belesis), so the called me Bells instead.

I am definately rebooking while on the cruise. I'd like to do the 7 day Western or maybe one of the special itineraries when the 2009s come out. WE saved a lot by rebooking the last time we cruised.

:cheer2: Me (34) :woohoo: DH (34)
princess: DD (7) pirate: DS (3) DS (5 months)

That's the plan here too... Even tho we have the later seating, I think I'd rather take DD to the matinees.

If this turns out to be true, I hope we get the APLAPLA rotation then - as that would mean 8pm rather than 8:30 :)

But I thought someone on the Med cruises this summer said they had done away with the staggered starts?

Thats possible, that is just what we experienced last August. I haven't heard anything either way.

Manon,
This can be done by opening a free account at Photobucket.com. Upload your pictures to your account. Then use the coding underneath the pictures to attach in your posting. I will try it later. Though I doubt that there is any with all of us together. I do have a cute one of my pirates and Mark from Halloween!
