November 1, 2008 "Election Day Castaways!"

This is the picture I took of DH and the glowsticks I accidentally sat on :-)

I worked on my avatar and signature last night to update them to shout out that I've cruised on both the Magic and the Wonder.

Obviously, I need to make my Magic/Wonder pic smaller. (Which I found on the main boards - The photo was taken last year {by a fellow dis'er} when both the Magic and Wonder were in Nassau.) Back to the drawing boards. I'd really like to put that picture in my avatar rather than my signature, but haven't quite figured out how to do that yet.

It is a work in progress.

For those of you who have a snap fish account or want to open one there is a great offer out there to make a momento of our recent cruise. You can get a free 20 page 8x10 photo book. In this link below contains the instruction on how to link through the Oprah site to get your free book. All said and done it only cost about $7 for 20 8x10's. I thought this was a great deal and a cool way to remeber the trip.

We had Brent's wife as our Head Server.........Yolandi. She was the best head server that we have had in 4 cruises. Our server Louis was great to. I give credit to Laslo for working hard but a little mixed up at times. They were all great with the kids and us!

Thanks for the info artesian.

We took around 690 digital pictures during the trip, plus 2 waterproof camera's for snorkling. I had a CVS photobook printed up and had to cut down to 75 pix. No easy task. I do like the CVS photobooks (although the machine is a pain as it doesn't keep your prints in order when it reads your media and I have to spend 1/2 hour moving pics back into order at the CVS). Everybody that I show the photobook to just loves it.

My next task is to make a slideshow DVD with music from the trip. Time consuming but a fun way to share the photos. We then have to invite unsuspecting family members over to dinner to share our "home movie" vacation video.:rotfl:

I'll have to look into the 8x10 offer from snapfish. We avoid Shutters (GREAT photos but $$$$) relying on the pix from our cameras using their backgrounds and the kindness of our fellow diser's to take group shots of us. (Shout out to Judy for our formal night pix!!!) It would be nice to have some economical 8x10's.

I know I took a lot of pictures for fellow cruisers, as I am always happy to take group pictures of people. My favorite was of the couple who had their Mickey Christmas ear hats at the Flying Dutchman for their Christmas cards. I always wonder how the pictures I took turned out.

My signature photo of the ships has magically fixed itself all by itself and is now small enough. Power of suggestion??? Anyway, wouldn't it be nice if I could get my lottery numbers to appear at the next drawing if I have acquired some supernatural ability.

Still want to move it to my avitar. I'll focus some mental energy at it and see what happens.

yep that's right, the WHOLE family practiced on the Wii...now to just find feenie's DH for some more competition :scratchin ...dd still talks about the cruise and asks when we are going back...:scared1: I think we have created a monster!!!

Love those pics guys! You all are a hoot!!

Thanks for both links, for the Snapfish book and the release form. I already have like 500 4x6 photo credits on the site, plus some 5x7, but I'd love to make a quick book of 8x10s, esp if they are free!!

Lots of pics on my TR too. Only up to day one, I am slow in posting and typing, since I don't get to it until after the girls are in bed! There are some pics in there of fellow EDCs, or some taken by fellow EDCs, so see if I caught you. I hope tomorrow to have pics of our First night variety show, and our girl "cupcake" from the Ron Pearson show!

Night all. Miss you and the MAGIC terribly.

"Remember the way it made you feel....Remember the MAGIC" *sniff*:sad1:

:goodvibes
Brendon certainly is fun to beat!!!

Oh my guys! I just had to rescue us from page 2!!! :scared1: Get off the boat and we are slipping!!

Would be heading down to the Theatre for the Welcome Aboard Variety show right now. :guilty: I need to see a ugy balance a ladder on his chin again!!

Hope all are well today. It was really warm here today (70s) then a front came through and the temp dropped by 15 degrees!! BRRRRRR

Hope to hear from you all soon!!

PS< Is there anyone who is going on our Baltic Cruise in 2010? We shove off on June12th. I know some of you rebooked, but I wanted to see if anyone else will be joining us!!

Oh, Jen-

If there is any cruise I would want to take it would be that Baltic or Northern capitals one- I am soooo envious! We are at the end of our school year then, it would be impossible to miss. You're very lucky that you're able to go!!!

Not that I'm going to complain in LESS than 2 years when we're trick-or-treating on another Western!;) :rotfl:

Everyday this week I have sat at my desk at work and kept thinking about what I was doing last week on the Disney Magic and who was in room 7020 sleeping in my bed? :sad2: I can't believe that it is over! :confused3 I have to say I am so happy we rebooked onboard and will be going the same time next year as long as the economy does not get much worse. I did not tell the kids yet that we rebooked and think if all goes well I will surprise them the day we leave. That way if we did have to cancel they won't be dissapointed only I will. Either way we will be back next year or 2010. Have a great weekend everyone!:)

What dates are y'all sailing again?

I've been off the boards for a couple of days. Seems my ears don't want my eyes to be in balance :scared1:

DH gathered all the stuff we can use on the next cruise. Now to find a box for it to be secured in until 2010.

It's cold here on the east coast!

Do you have any more green wrist bands left?

My kiddos will need new ones for our next cruise.

I'd love to buy some from you.

Ok, the girls want to know where Paige lives and when they can go play with her. Think you could move closer to Maryland so that they can play?? :rotfl2:

DH and I lived in Glen Burnie (south of Baltimore) 13 years ago...we actually were married in Baltimore! We have thought about moving back but not sure how my Indy Colts gear would go over hanging outside a house in MD...:rotfl2:

We actually live in Indianapolis now but are considering a trip to the DC area next spring...Paige wants to visit Rachel and we thought we could drive...a detour to MD wouldn't be bad...we thought about seeing WuvTigger and family while we are there...If we do decide I will let you and Wuv know and we could try to meet up somewhere...I think the girls would LOVE that. If anyone else lives in the area, let me know...it would be neat to see you again...
