Hey Everyone! We did not get to meet you all on the first day we had some craziness the first day with the start of my son getting car sick on the way to the port and we upgraded at port to a balcony and our luggage was at our old stateroom. If you all went to the 8:30 show the first night I was called on stage by Ron Pearson and was Buttercup. How embarrassing but very funny! So needless to say it was a little crazy the first day but we has a wonderful time and did rebook on board for next year the same week. It was so sad to leave but knowing we will be back gives us something to look forward to! Hope everyone had a wonderful time!

Thanks for all the FE gifts. It was fun.

We did 2 nights as Wildernes Lodge and crammed in 2 park days.
I like the cruise pace better.

We landed at 11:15am in ACY today and I was at work by 12:45

A half day seems so long today.

Rebooked for the same cruise in 10 also!

We did get a great quote for the same week next year. We couldn't get a 9 cat deck 2 Aft. Only staterooms available were within the 1st 5 staterooms at the bow. Can't do that as dd & I get motion sickness.

The quote she gave us for Nov 1 09 was the same price we paid this year.

Dh has the exact date for 2010. It's 14 months from now. It's about the same time that we booked the 08 cruise out.

"I screamed when I 1st saw the ship. I was so excited when I saw the ship. I like seeing the characters in the DCL terminal. Oh, yeah, I liked seeing Pluto. He scared my Mommy when he slid on the floor. Goofy jumped up & bumped his head and that scared me.

My favorite characters on the ship were: Belle, Snow White & Cinderella.

I liked the Oceaneers Club, sometimes. I liked Captain Hook's ship which looked like Neverland and the Mermaid Lagoon. I used the computers and I read some books. You can never have enough reading, that's what Belle says.

I went swimming. I liked the ice cream bar. Best of all: I liked Pinnochio's Pizzeria. I liked the lemonade at the drink station on Deck 9.

I liked watching the Tinker Bell movie. It was awesome!

I liked the shows too. And I liked Friend Ship Rocks!"

DH wanted to rebook on board...boy was I shocked!

DD LOVED all the FE gifts...she thought is was neat that people were leaving her gifts. She got upset when her new "best friend" Rachel (little girl sitting next to us at dinner) got off the boat. She was so upset she refused to say bye to any of her other friends, like Lindsay and Sydney...

Wuv..I did win a small bingo pot and Feenie and her DH got to see my victory dance for the millionth time! BTW, DD still sings the B11 song. Now we just need to get our moves in sync. LOL!! Oh yeah, we will be "bowling" every night just to improve our skills...

DH and I agree it was great to see people we knew in the hallways or in the clubs and get to chat...it made our vacation even more special...

We had the greatest time on this cruise. We rebooked for a 5 day cruise to Nassau/Key West for August 2010, but may change it once all the dust settles. We loved the cruise so much and don't know exactly what we want to do the next time.

My DD didn't want to go at first, but had a blast. She wouldn't go to the Oceaneer Lab for long the first few days, but later in the week, we couldn't get her out. She asked if we could live on the ship. How I wish!

We were on a tour in Key West that ended up closing the boat parade on our way back to the ship. DD was pulled on stage as a dwarf for the Golden Mickey 6:15pm show. We made it to brunch at Palo's, tea with Alice and the Mad Hatter, and a beer tasting. I'm not sure what was truly the highlight of our trip. Each day was filled with sights, adventures, and experiences that were wonderful.

Newark Airport was closed for a bit due to heavy rain on Saturday afternoon. We were delayed in Charlotte, NC for over two hours (of which we were sitting on the tarmack for nearly two hours). Luckily, our flight was not cancelled. It was a very close call. Otherwise, the trip home was smooth enough.

It was a pleasure meeting everyone. I wish we were able to meet all those who missed the meet in the Promenade Lounge. We all enjoyed the FE gifts. It really added fun and excitement to our cruise. DD especially enjoyed it--both giving and receiving. Thanks to everyone. Hope to see you again on a future cruise.

Hi Everyone,

What an amazing trip!!!! Thanks so much for the FE Gifts, loved by all. Everything made it home safe. So Happy to have the ornaments to remember the trip with. It was so much fun to always have something special to look forward to each day.

We rebooked the same week for 2010.

We got home at about 5pm Saturday night, flight was only 15 minutes late getting into Philly.

Sorry that we missed the meet in the Promenade lounge, DS not feeling well at first.

Loved meeting you all on the ship. Thanks Shauna, the Bracelets were a great idea!!!!

Mindelmouse - we rebooked the 2010 Med too! Which one? DH SURPRISED me on the last day by rebooking... without my help! He never ceases to amaze me . We're doing the Aug 7th 11 night. And yes... now to start paying it off, lol.

Thank you everyone for the great FE gifts!!! The kids had a blast getting gifts every day, and loved pointing out the stateroom doors that had our EDC signs on them. We had fun pointing out our friends in Shutters, and it was so hard to get them to leave the kids clubs, lol!

We had a fabulous time. With around 15 WDW vacations under my kids belt... they agreed hands down this was the best vacation ever. We cried leaving the boat, we cried saying goodbye to our wonderful servers (Liam and Marija), I cried when I realized 1/2 way to WDW that I left my diamond stud earrings in the safe on the ship (!!!).

Yeah, so get this... we find a number to call to try and get someone to ask housekeeping to check the safe for my earrings. I knew where they were - up towards the front of the safe. DH got a hold of someone who was going to get a hold of someone to go on the boat and get the earrings. I'm an optomist - DH is a pessimist. I *knew* they'd find them. DH said "they're as good as gone." That night, while waiting for our dinner seating at Japan in Epcot, we get a call. They found 1 earring, but the other fell in a hole in the front of the safe... and they were going to have to cut the safe apart to get it!!! OMG - I was so happy they found my earrings, and DH was laughing that they were actually going to dismantle the safe to get the other one. I just said "Honey... you should know by now... this is DISNEY!"

My DS and DD said they would rather go on another cruise then go to WDW...They don't know we booked this yet. I'm going to have to save 300 a week to pay for this...I don't know if I can swing it...maybe the money fairy will drop me some.

Oh, glad you got your pjs back! I'm hoping to get a call soon saying they found the elusive other earring.

We booked the cruise for just DH and myself. The kiddies will be spending some quality time with the grandparents, lol.

Thanks to all, the boys had the time of their lives although they liked feeding chickens at Key West more than anything else there...oh well, it's their vacation too. The Turtle farm was awesome....We booked the 12 day European cruise on 7/18/2010. Now to start paying it off. This one is for us alone , thus far.... Retirement Gift to each other since we both retire on January 2 2010. Was hoping they had a Mexican Riviera Cruise coming up since it leaves from Los Angeles, but not until 2011 or 12. Wuvtigger, PM me your contact info when you get a chance. Podsnel, thanks for taking us along for the Dolphin Swim, the boys loved it.

The girls realized last night that there was NO warmed breaded with softened butter for them at the dinner table.

They were brining in their items to share at school today. I think they have enough to share for the next 4 weeks.

We too missed the ship. Our eldest cried at breakfast & I quickly joined her.

Hi everyone!



Was anyone else crying as they got off the ship? What a struggle it was to fight back those tears!! The mood in the car to WDW was sooooo sad- but we recovered at Beaches and Cream with some big sundaes, so it got much better after that!

Janine, I just wanted to let you know, your DS14 waved at me FIRST with a BIG SMILE on his face when I passed you guys bike riding on CC!

I was very choked up getting off ship...my darn DS's actually said they had fun and wanted to do it again..AGGHHH...and they acted so miserable the first few days....
Justin said the bike riding was the best...How did I miss you on the trail? I was so concentrating on DS7 not landed in the bushes I guess... (his first time on bike)... We are discussing doing another one, DH is thinking the Wonder, they are all missing our asst. Server Candice to tears. She moved to the Wonder.. We seriously fell in love with that girl, she was awesome. Thank god we have her email etc....we made a lifetime friend in her. Plus she wants to fix her sister up with DS14...UGGH
Can't wait for race / birthday this weekend and then back home....

Hey everyone... Sorry we did not get to meet during the trip... We had an excellent time. We had the best servers, Alvin and Raphael (we had Raph last year as well) and had a blast with them. We made some great friends among Cast MEmbers. We enjoyed the excursions we went on...

And we rebooked for the 7-6-2010 European Capitals cruise...

Here is the photo my DH took of the nice lady who took the group photos. I thought it was humerous with this CM holding all of our cameras.
