Just read at the top of the board that Bolt and his friends will be at DHS starting Nov 9th, my boys are really excited.

13hrs and counting.

My mom called me today to tell me that she had been up sick all night and into today.

I am praying that this is just the 24 hour flu. I'm also praying my step-dad and brother don't get sick too. She only has Saturday to get well. We are leaving really early Sunday morning.

3 more sleeps for us! WooHoo!!!! Just dropped my daughter off with soccer coach to head down for the big tournament. Just threw in a load of laundry. Once I get everything washed it's time to pack! WooHoo!!!

If anyone is driving down I-81 through Virginia...gas is now at $1.95 here in our area of Winchester!! WoooHooo!!!

Welp, it's just a few hours until we're off to the airport hotel. Our flight leaves in the wee hours of the morning tomorrow, so we're hoping this will give us a chance to sleep a couple more hours since it shifts the travel time to today. We'll see if it's worth the expense!

One thing's for sure...we'll be walkin' down Main Street, USA real soon.

OK I took the plunge and booked tickets on Allegiant air this morning. we'll leave a day early and spend the night in St. Petersburg.

So we are down to 1 day!!!




I have just about all my packing done.

I have to get my boys haircuts today, and get memory cards for my camera.

We have to go to bed so early. We have to leave our house around 4:30 a.m. to get to the airport. Our flight leaves at 7:30 a.m.

thanks everyone! I was and still am VERY excited. Here is the whole story....

A few days before leaving i had noticed DBF acting alittle funny but didn't think too much about it. So the morning we were leaving we get to the airport and DBF insisted on carrying the carry-on back pack which was fine with me I didn't want to carry it! So we start going through security and our stuff starts going through the xray machine. Just as I start walking to go through the metal detector the TSA guy goes "Huh, someone is getting a nice engagement ring." I didn't know what to say i was in shock. So we went through security and DBF and I were VERY upset. I honestly though DBF was going to punch the guy in the face. So i started crying and went into the bathroom to call my mom. I told her what happened and she calmed me down and told me to wash my face and go be with Adam. She said he was upset enough and him seeing me sad would make it worse and she was right. So i went out to the gate and I told him to just forget about it because i already did and that no matter what it wasn't going to ruin our vacation or any other plans we had. We kind of joked around about it and then just stopped talking about it. I did however go over to someone who worked for TSA and told them what happened and they said he would be spoken to... whether that happened or not who knows.
So fast forward to Tuesday. We were going to spend the day at EPCOT because we had a 1:55 ADR at le cellier. On the way to the park my leg rubbed up against his and i felt a square object in his pocket. Now to be honest I seriously wasn't thinking about it because i was so in awe of the hotel and just plain happy to be in Disney again. So this kind of confirmed that it was happening.... well all day i was so nervouse that i must have made a stop at every epcot bathroom atleast once. So we ate at le cellier and still nothing. After le cellier we were pretty cold and weren't dressed right ( stupid weather channel ) so we decided to go back to the resort and change into warmer clothes before the carriage ride.
We get to Fort Wilderness and at that point i had an idea it was coming. So what do I do?? I head over to crockets tavern and get a drink. The carriage shows up and we get it. In was very pretty and peaceful. The drink definatly helped. The driver turned the carriage around to head back and DBF said "I think you should put your drink down", he took it from me and grabbed my hand and said "Katie, You had told me a long time ago that you wanted to get engaged in Disney. You made my dream come true when you put all of your trust in me and bought the house even when you were scared to. I want that trust to last forever and I would like to prove to you that it will. (cue the crying) Katie, Will you marry me?" (cue the ring and more crying) I don't thinki stopped crying for a good 5 mins when finally he said "Ummm is that a yes?" And i couldn't talk so i shook my head and he put the ring on for me.
The carriage driver said "Ok either you spilt her drink or proposed because those are the only two reasons you could make her cry like that!" So after the carriage ride we went over to the Wilderness lodge to check it out (Loved it there by the way!) and took a nice walk along their little boardwalk by the pool. We went back to epcot that night and watch illuminations. It was awesome! We walked up to a photopass guy and DBf said "do you mind taking a picture of me and my newly fianced girlfriend?" didn't even make sense and i couldnt stop laughing at him but it was awesome.
The ring is absolutly gorgeouse it has a 1 crt princess cut stone in the middle and 5 small round stones on each side. I'll put pictures up soon i promise. So thats our engagement story... started alittle rough but ended awesome.
As far as wedding is concerned we are thinking fall of 2010. We are going to have a small wedding and are thinking about a disney escape wedding (if its in the budget) if not a disney wedding definatly a disneymoon! I want to wear those bride and groom ears!! You are all more than welcome to come hehehe!
