6 more days! I've been hearing that none of the Chrismtas deorations are up at DHS or EPCOT. I'm really hoping that they are going up soon!!! For all of you leaving soon have a GREAT time!!!! Ohhh and Sheribo thanks for the Tree!!!

2 more weeks for us too! We may see you on I-10 heading out of town! Work is going by so slowly each day! My kids like to do the "excited" dance now that we are so close! My oldest keeps bugging me abot packing. I sort of dread it because I tend to overpack in a major way! I'm always worried about not having enough clothes or if it gets really cold, etc. I want to wait to see what the weather forcast is next week for the 20th on. I hope everyone has great trips! I can't believe the wait is almost over!

We will be right behind you on I-10, but we aren't leaving until the afternoon.

PS - I always way overpack too. You just can't predict the weather this time of year.

Ahhh. One more day at work, one more sleep at home, a trip to the airport, a sleep at the airport hotel, then an airplane trip, a towncar trip, and we're there!

We booked this trip while we were there last December. It'll be our first as DVC owners staying on points. And we're bringing my parents along this time. It's their first visit to WDW, and the first vacation I've had with them since 1980, when we went to Disneyland together.

It's been a long time coming, and it's wonderful that it'll finally be here soon!

I ordered our water from Costco this morning and also put our mail on hold. I'm in totally "vacation packing mode" now. My DH was laughing last night as I writing out lists.

Sorry... this is probably a dumb question, but How do you put your mail on hold? I have never done that, but I probably should this time. We are leaving Sunday. Do I have enough time to put it on hold?

You can either go to the post office and fill out a form OR you can go online and do it at usps.com It's really nice, you can choose to pick up your mail from the post office when you get back or have your carrier deliver it when you get back.

ETA: Yes, you have time, you can do it today and it will stop either tomorrow or Monday. And there are no dumb questions! If everyone knew everything there is to know I think life would be boring....there wouldn't be anything new to learn!

So we had changed our plans to fly instead of drive just a few days ago. I called to book ME this past Tuesday and got 2 courier deliveries today. They sent pick-up and drop-off separately. But fast!!!

One week from today we'll be in Rochester at the DVC Traveling Road Show. Then just 6 short days from now we'll be checking into our resort. I had to go out and buy new luggage though. DH & I usually pack our stuff together in a big suitcase but apparently, AirTran is quite picky and it might be an inch or two over.
