Novelty sock and Keychain Exchange SENT & RECEIVED

I received a package today all the way from Canada
From Cruisin", Robin, I received:
4 pairs of socks.....short pink with red dots, short white with lime dots , turtle ones that say Hot Stuff, chick ones that say Flirt.
Very cute
Keyrings were a nice heavy silver Canadian one and a cute green maple leaf bottle opener one
Also princess pencil, Mickey pencil, Canada pencil, Canada prism pen and light up maple leaf jiggle pen, not pad, and sticker of Cindy, Princesses, Pooh and Tink

I'd like someone to explain how that can get there so fast but poor Velveeta got lost somewhere on his way to Canada

True story. I was giving a little sing song voice of : I got socks.. I got socks. and the Dbf rolled his eyes. You see. I LOVE socks. They are a "Fetish" of mine if you will. I have about a bazillion pairs of kooky and colorful ones, and yes, the machine seems to eat them and by the end of the year I have a lot of "Dusting Mits" because well... I can never find the mates. So I just let the DBF roll his eyes... Because I GOT SOCKS! I GOT SOCKS!

You know, now that you mention it... I think i have seen that episode. *laughs* because I can see Jenna Elfman (Dharma) Saying it. I kind of liked that show, but why it would embarass your kids, I have no idea.

We love socks here. I have a whole drawer full of holiday socks and new "waiting there turn" socks....DD is the same way

I bet your cats smelled MY cats on the boxes I pack them up and sit them on the floor waiting for names and I think they like to rub on them...sending a little kitty love along.

I hope she didn't mind the patriotic socks. I had a very hard time convincing my little guy this was for a girl and not for himself.
When I saw the penguin & butterfly combos, I thought, "Wow, perfect for this swap." Glad she liked it all.

Last Sunday a friend of my DH and a regular customer at my store
was killed in a HORRIBLE motorcylce accident
than on Tues another yound man we know was killed in another car accident

needless to say it has been and emotional and tiring week

I received a package in my mailbox today

It came to me from ryka and what a special package it was.

Inside I found:

special sleep socks that are supposed to pamper and soften your feet while you sleep....... I'll check those out tonight

white socks with pink, red and purple dots

striped bluish/gray socks with lots of different coloured hearts

blue socks with birds that I think are penguins ... love these ones

black socks with pink pigs...... very cute.

white socks with pink puppies and a matching key chain that says "cute as can be"

gray socks with neat little frogs and a matching keychain that says "cutie"

a Pirates of the Caribbean lanyard

Silly putty ..... having fun with that
