Nov/Dec--what is happening?

We have decided to go to California now instead of Florida!
Anything I need to know before I book the trip?

The Christmas Decor is up mid-late november right?

Anything closed that you know of?

I can't find out anything good on the calendar or the Disneyland site.

Any big gatherings/conventions on? Because it says Paradise Pier is all booked up from Mid nov-mid Dec!!

Snow White musical is off now right?

Aladdin still on? (Please say yes!)

Any other good websites that I can find stuff out on?

The Christmas decorations will be up.
The Haunted Mansion will have the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay.
Small World will have a Christmas theme.
There is one convention that I know of Dec. 6-11 (because I will be there!) but I don't know how big it is and it shouldn't have much effect on the parks or the Disney hotels, we are mostly staying at the Hilton and Marriott.

Now that California Screamin' is back up, it doesn't look like anything is scheduled to be down in Nov/Dec.
Snow White, however, has been discontinued for now. Aladdin has been playing, although it hasn't been running on Mondays and Tuesdays during the off season. The Electrical Parade was also stopped after the summer, but rumor has it that it may be back around the 16th of December.
I'm anxiously awaiting the December calendar to see what the Fantasmic, fireworks, and show schedule is for December; Fantasmic sometimes goes down this time of year.

One of the reasons that the PPH and other Disney hotels have been booked is because Disney offered a 4th night free offer at the Disney hotels up through the 20th or so.

Karylrocks--The convention you are at--you are staying close to DLand? Will there be lots of people from the convention visiting the parks? Like is it based at DL? Kids?

It is at the convention center which is just south (across the street) from DL, and most people will be staying at the Hilton and Marriott just south of there. I doubt it will affect the parks much - I don't think that many are bringing their families. There are always conventions going on so that is just part of the usual crowd. Crowds should be fine starting after Thanksgiving weekend (Nov. 28) up until Christmas break (Dec.16).
I am planning to spend some quality alone time at the parks on Dec. 9 and 10 while DS is attending seminars.

That is right karylrocks...dgaston & I will be there for the convention as well! My bd is Dec. 10th and I am looking forward to standing alone in the parks and just taking it all in!
