I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :thumbsup2

Have a great cruise!

We have taken the Disney Magic - Western Caribbean (Oct. 2010) and the Disney Wonder - Alaska (June 2011).

I don't know what advice I could provide to you. We are kinda newbies compared to others on DIS.

Do you have children?

No children here yet but right now I think I'm still part child when it comes to Disney.

My parents helped me with half the deposit for a DVC membership last year for my birthday and this is my first time using it so I am treating my mom to a cruise while my dad has chosen to stay home and cat sit. (I think he just wants the house to himself for a week .. LOL:laughing:)

I'm a former Disneyland castmember and continued Disney fanatic!!!

How about you?

That is AWESOME! I would have loved to work as a castmember! How FUN!

My husband Corey and I have two children. Julia, who is 7 going on 17, and Chandler, who is 5. We both work full time and love to vacation! When we go on vacations we understand that it is not only a vacation for us, but for our children as well. So we LOVE the Disney Cruises! It is so much fun and the kids really have a BLAST! You will LOVE it!

Are you planning on doing any excursions while we are in port?

Welcome Aboard!!!

I been waiting for this thread to start. For a while I thought we would have the ship to ourselves...lol Glad to see other found this site. This will be our 4th Disney Cruise first on the Wonder and first time leaving from CA. We are just starting to look for things to do...My husband would love to try ziplining in Carbo. My son 13yrs will also be with us, he is hoping to meet someone on the disboards before we go. Anybody traveling with tweens??

4 months and counting!!!

:dance3:

:yay: YAY! Another cruiser! Welcome to the thread! Sorry, no tweens here. Hopefully now that the thread is going others will join and your son will find someone before the cruise!

:tinker:I don't know as of yet ... I am still reading the reviews and looking at the prices ... however I think the dolphin thing would be amazing .. What about you?

The dolphin things always look amazing! We are not planning on doing any of the typical excursions. My parents are fractional owners of a condo in Nuevo Vallarta, so we are actually going to go to that resort to play on the beach when we are docked in Puerto Vallarta. In Cabo we might stay on the boat one day and go into town and do some shopping the other day. It's just a pain in the butt that we have to tender! We tendered when we were in Grand Caymen and it just takes a long time to get on and off the boat.

What other cruises have you taken? We have done the Alaskan and the Western Caribbean. Both were FANTASTIC!

The last 3 cruises were on the Magic, eastern twice and western once all were fantastic. We were going back and fourth this time on where to go. Thought about Alaskan cruise but in Nov I think would be too chilly, we live in Mass I have enough chilly weather here...lol So the Mexican Riviera won out.
My son really wanted to bring a friend with him don't think that is happening this time around. I hope he is able to meet someone his age on the disboards before we go. Anybody traveling with teens??

Four Months from tomorrow...but who's counting!

:dance3:

How exciting! We already have a page 2. I hope some more people join soon. It feels like we are the only ones sailing on this cruise ... lol ...

Hi Yall - Our family will be joining in the fun on Nov 6! This is our very first Disney cruise and we are sooooo excited, except that the kiddos have no idea that we are going. :rolleyes1: But if they knew, they would be excited. It is me, DH, DS (9), DD (8) and DD (2). We are going to start the trip with a day in DL, then most likely breakfast Sunday morning at Goofy's Kitchen where we will surprise the kids and go straight to the port.

We NEED to start a Fish Extender Exchange. That is the onething I have looked foward to ever since I decided to go on a Disney cruise. Sooo, who is with me???

Hi. I'm Lisa. My DH, Bill and I are sailing with you. We have a daughter, Victoria, who is 11. My sister and her family will be with us. They are all adults. We are also spending days at Disneyland and a bit of sightseeing in LA, too. This will be almost a two week vacation for us.

This will be our second Disney cruise. We sailed in November 2008, on the Magic to the Western Carribbean. It was amazing!

I'm glad to see this thread for our trip. Last time, we had fun meeting the group from Disboards in one of the lounge areas on the afternoon we embarked and doing fish extenders.

I look forward to getting to know everyone!

Princess Kayla: My sister and I will particpate in Fish Extenders!

Lisa
