Cast - Me, DH, DD13, DS10
Also traveling with us Niece(P), her DH (M), his brother (R) and his brother's kids DS6(J) , DD2(J)

We were not on the dining plan but have the DDE card
Most breakfasts were eaten in the concierge lounge

Service everywhere we went was very good except for Cosmic Ray's and one day at Kona Cafe

We found that the food quality and taste at some of the restaurants has declined

Table service

Kona
Just the 4 of us - rating 3
appetizers - duck pot stickers - very good
Me - Steamed Ono - this was ok, it was overcooked so it was dry
DH - pork chop and he said it was just ok
DD - coconut almond chicken that was the best of the 3 entrees
DS - wasn't too hungry had hot dog from kids menu and a side of white rice instead of the veggies or fries option
Had about a 10 minute wait before we were seated from our ADR time

Rainforest Cafe in AKL for Lunch - rating 4
We couldn't fnd any of the counter service that appealed to all of us - couldn't use the DDE card here
Me - China Island chicken salad - good as always
DH - Cobb salad - good
DD and DS both had the BBQ chicken wrap which was very good but DS didn't like the onions in it
P had the burger and house salad - said both were very good
M had the BBQ beef wrap
R and kids had chicken tenders and fries
Seated within 5 minutes - no ADR

Hoop de doo - rating food 4, show 4
My family enjoys this show - first time for everyone else
Everyone had a great time and the food was good too. Ribs were moist and falling off the bone, fried chicken wasn't dry, good mashed potatoes, beans were just ok
They no longer serve corn, replaced by the mashed potatoes, we were also served corn bread instead of the regular bread they used to have

California Grill - rating 5
I was there for the first time about 3 years ago - first time with DH, DD and DS
We met up with some friends for dinner - we were seated about 20 minutes after our ADR time
Me - Mushroom flatbread without the gorgonzola - Pork tenderloin with goat cheese polenta - awesome
DH - soup - snapper
DD - Yoshi's sushi platter
DS - filet of beef - ordered it medium came out medium rare so we had to send it back-sauce on the side no veggies for him
Friends - pork tenderloin, filet of beef for two of them, children's grilled chicken
For dessert we had Valrhona chocolate and coffee ice cream, kids pudding, kids ice cream, pear tart, honey crunch cake
Everyone really enjoyed everything

Kona Cafe - breakfast twice during the week - just the 4 of us
Breakfast was very good - service the first day was a little slow but really good the second day
I tried the tonga toast one of the days but definitely too sweet for my liking
Rating 4

Le Cellier - have eaten here before but not in a long time
rating 5
Me - prime rib
DH - NY strip - this was one large piece of meat
DD - Filet Mignon
DS - hot dog
Smores for dessert and we all shared

Mama Melrose - Fantasmic Dinner package - rating 3
Seated right away
I really don't know why the chefs at Disney can't make a decent tomato sauce the one here was thick and gross
Knowing this I never order anything with tomato sauce but it came on the side with one of the appetizers and a couple of people ordered chicken parmigiana
Me - Toasted Italian bread salad - Pork marsala - warm chocolate truffle cake - everything I had I enjoyed
DH - Minestrone - Chicken parm (I warned him about the sauce and it was terrible) - Crema Limone
DD - mozzarella and tomatoes - Penne Vodka - Tiramisu wasn't great
DS - wasn't very hungry so they let him order off the kids menu at the kids price and he had the pizza and kids ice cream
P - Calamari - had a pasta dish with shrimp which was very good and the best choice - tiramisu
M - Cesar salad - can't remember what he had for an entree - tiramisu
R - tomato and mozzarella - chicken parm - crema limone
R's kids - pizza - kids ice cream

Liberty Tree Tavern dinner - rating 3 - all 9 of us were here for dinner
Seated 15 minutes after our ADR time
The characters were really good
This used to be one of my favorite character meals but the food quality has gone down from the last time we dined there 2 yrs ago

Boma - rating 2
We were seated right away
This was always my husband's favorite restaurant and we always go everytime we are at WDW
I have to say that this is probably the last time we are going for a while. The food quality and taste has declined
It was a toss up between here and Wolfgang Puck Cafe, which we love, we should have gone there instead

Nine Dragons - rating 4
We had lunch here on our last day - we haven't dined here in about 4 years but really enjoyed it
Me and Dh - had the shrimp with vegetables
DD had the tri-star appetizer plus a side order of fried rice
DS had the kids sweet and sour chicken

Counter Service

Cosmic Rays - rating 3
First time here we normally either have lunch at LTT or at Pecos Bills
My DH and DS were done eating by the time DD and I received our food. They served about 10 other people before we got our food and two people in front of us were still waiting
DH and DS had burgers and they said they were just ok
DD and I had salads and they were good

Backlot Express - rating 5
All 9 of us ate here and everything was very good
Between us all we had burgers, veggie sandwich, chicken strips, hot dog

One lunch was hot dogs and baked potatoes in Liberty Square
Very good believe it or not
Rating 5

Columbia Harbor House - rating 4
Just the 4 of us
We had 2 BLT salads, two soups, chicken strips and we all shared
The chowder was very good and filling - I could have had just that and it would have been enough

I hope this helped someone with their decisions

thanks for the review - i hate to hear that about boma - we have a reservation for next week ---also have one at raglan road which has also been getting some disappointing reviews ...:confused3

Thank you for taking the time to type all of that up! It sounds like your meal at CA Grill was delicious!

I hope that Boma's was just an off night but with 4 people and the bill totalling $100 we walked away disappointed with the food. We have eaten there about 5 or 6 times and never had a problem except for last week.
