That's what scares me. Remember the Boardwalk fiasco a few years back? When there was a glitch in the system allowing people to book a garden suite for like $100 a night?

When Disney discovered the mistake, they contacted everyone who booked and told them that they weren't honouring the price.

However, I don't think this is a system glitch, this is a CM glitch.

yup...confirmed again.....it is a bounce back offer. My Disney travel agent got back to me this morning and said it was most definitely a bounce back code for people staying at the resort up until the end of this month.

The contract for a Disney reservation says that the prices are subject to change until package is paid for in full. With the Boardwalk fiasco, people argued that they were paid in full and Disney STILL refused to honour the rate.

Regarding the GX8 code, I called more than once and talked to different CMs. Was told it was bounceback only. Then the last CM I talked to offered it to me, but it was only a room discount, and only good for the first night of my stay. I was thinking it was for free dining. Anyway, still hoping for FD in November.

Just called. Blacked out for my dates. Cm said blacked out from 10-30 through 11-12. But she told me to keep my eyes open for another discount.

Hoping one is coming soon!

She did not say anything about bounceback offer.

I'm not worried about being offered this discount on our two rooms because my CM had it ok'd by guest services who have the final say. The thought of having it removed has never crossed my mind.

I think that my CM was correct in offering it to us or guest services would never have allowed it, especially on our second room!

I still advise people to keep trying for a CM who has knowledge of this discount.

Hi Haley's mom,

I was told the same thing about the dates. Our first week we are at the Poly and were unable to use the discount. The CM told me it was perfect timing to be changing resorts because it was available starting on the 13th to the 19th which were our exact dates for the BC. It was not a BB offer!

I got an email today, but no PIN. There is a code, but I called and they said there is no availability at and deluxes using it for my dates for a package. I wonder if it is for room only?

What I don't understand, is when I asked him to price WL the price he gave me was higher than the on-line price by about $140.

I just received an email today with a pin code as well. It sounds like the exact same one as mentioned above, but it was for only 10% off rooms (which would only be about $80 or so for us). I wonder why some are getting a pin for 30% and mine was 10% for the exact same dates in November?!

Oh well...still keeping my fingers crossed for a free dining offer!

No deposit needed. Just go through the process of pricing a vacation on the disney site but instead of continuing to book it, click on "save this offer" at the bottom of the page. It just saves the offer on your disney site account. It's not actually booked. You can save multiple vacation offers.

Well I have done all the "tricks" and no PIN for me yet. I'm starting to get nervous that part of my trip will be blacked out. So far nobody's PINs include all of our dates 10/29-11/5. Specifically, the checking in on 10/29. Is there still some hope of a free dining announcement, at least?

I know last year there was Free Dining from Nov.12-18/Nov.27-Dec.2 & Dec.10-21. We will be there from Nov.17-28, so we are hoping they run similar dates this year! Good luck to everyone!

I called to find out the discount and it was for free quick service dining for value or mod. So I had it applied for my reservation at POFQ for nov. 7-14 and upgraded to reg. dining and saved over $800. Now if only a free reg. dining pin would come out.

I would totally take that! I was hoping for free regular dining at a mod, but I think we would be able to swing the mod even if it was free QS and we had to pay the $30 a day to upgrade to the regular DDP...it's iffy but we'll see. My guess is if that's the PIN coming out, any GP code wouldn't be better than this.

Edit: Upon review - we might stick with the value in this case...I'd just be happy to see it come out.
