Hi all,
I've been researching but can't quite find the thoughts I am looking for, so I hope you can help give me some direction.
I am running the Disney Half Marathon early on Sunday 5th November, flying into Tampa on the 1st Nov, and coming over to Orlando on the 2nd Nov. Staying at the Aventura Hotel 2nd - 6th Nov.
Having done Disneyland earlier this year, and knowing I will be in Epcot for the evening of the 5th Nov I was thinking it would be great to experience Universal.
Based in the UK, so our tickets here are 7 or 14 days which tbh are not useful for such a short trip. So looking for thoughts on where to buy lesser day tickets to Uni/ IOA, and also trying to work out if HHN is worth a go too.
I see HHN continues through 2nd & 3rd Nov, both of which would be manageable for us (me (39) and gf (37)). Unlikely to want to spend hours in lines or big $$$ for express passes, so wanted to ask around value of £72/ $92 per person to enable attendance to take in the atmosphere (I personally love Halloween having grown up in the States). Would you say its a waste of cash? Or is the general ambience and feel of the place worth experiencing for that sort of money?
Sorry for the rambling question, but honestly any thoughts will be very helpful.
Thanks for your help,
Rich
