myself, wife & 4 year old daughter each have 1 ts, 1cs & 1 snack per day.
my son is 2. what does he do while we eat? does he eat for free at the TS meal? does he not get anything at the CS meal? how does this work for a 2 year old?

Your 2 year old will eat off your plate at TS and CS unless it's a bufett.

At TS and CS meals, your 2 yo son will share your food unless you want to pay OOP for a meal of his own. At TS places, he will be given an empty plate to make sharing easier. At buffets, he can have his own plate and eat whatever his little heart desires from the buffet. (At CRT my 2 yo GS was given a "complimnetary" little platter of buttered noodles.) Just wanted to mention that all of your credits are per night, not per day. :upsidedow

When we went with our then DD6 and DS2, we ate at mostly character buffets restaurants for dinner so we could all eat comfortably. We also ate at counter service restaurants that give you plenty of food so you could share with a little one. For example, Cosmic Rays at MK, gives you lots of food for one counter service. Also, try Pepper Market food court at the Coronado Springs for a big variety of counter service meals.
