So on a whim I signed on to DVCmember.com...and found my waitlist had come through! Yeah! But...why had I not received any notification that it had been processed? How long does that normally take? Definitely not complaining, but I could see where it could be a problem for someone!

They don't actually notify you, per se. You should get an updated confirmation though - either by e-mail or paper mail. In the past, it was by paper mail only and it sometimes could be quite a while between seeing it on the website and getting that in the mail. It's possible that your wait list just came through today or recently.

When I was waiting for an important wait list one time, I used to stalk the DVC site multiple times a day!

Congratulations! I have often wondered how/when you were notified if you wl came through. Anytime we have been on the wl, it has never happened.

Just curious when are you going and what resort did your wl come through? We are on the wl for both BWVS & BCVs in a few weeks and I really am pessimistic that either one will come through.

You do know that at 31 days out, you are taken off the waitlist unless you call Members Services and ask to be put back on.

Just making sure.

Thanks, Sammie. Yes, we will be kept on the wl up to 7 days before but I still think it is really a longshot.

Well you never know maybe you will get it and if you don't all the resorts are great so you will have a fab time anyway.

I received my email from MS yesterday. At first, I just thought it was a reminder/confirmation of our trip (not that I'd need any reminding that I'm going to WDW!). When I clicked on the link to see my reservation, I noticed that my waitlist had come through. Kidani Village, here we come! :thumbsup2

How did you know from the website, that you got your waitlist? I'm still waiting and come off in 3 days :(

;) Since I have never had one come through I am only guessing, but if you go on the DVC member site and pull up Vacation Details, it will have your vacation listed. It will tell you the dates, resort, and how many points that will be used. If your WL has come through your new resort would be listed.

The "vacation details" has been changed to reflect a deduction in points, a change of resort, a change/extension of dates, etc.

Go to the member website.

On the left side of the screen, under My Membership, click on VIEW VACATION DETAILS

Scroll down to Upcoming Vacations

Look for the dates of your vacation, and see which resort is listed and the type of accommodation.

If you got off the waitlist, it will show the resort you waitlisted for.

If you did not get off the waitlist, it will show the resort you booked. (Or, I guess if you didn't book anywhere, it will show nothing.)
