Ooooooh.... Care to share? ;)

Well, if it ISN'T illegal, the walking around the French Quarter in the TTA hottie's outfit SHOULD be!!! :earseek: :earseek: I mean really - have you SEEN her hair?

but then again...Mar in a pair of fishnets *wolf whistle* maybe it should just be illegal because of the effect she has on the men around her :)

It's so scandalous that even describing it is illegal. All I can say is it involved a parakeet, shaving cream, and a '73 Ford Pinto.

Station Wagon or Hatchback? (Hey, it could make a big difference!)

I used to have a hatchback.... :rolleyes1 (after the kaboom years - or so my parents told me when they gave it to me :earseek: )

Aha Toon didn't tell you everything after all! You left out the spaghetti sauce.

Actually you wouldn't believe the folks who hang out on Bourbon street. The fishnets, silver boots and electric curlers didn't even stand out. ;)

lol good point!

Okay, I've really lost track of this thread, but I wanted to post on page 100, and say that when my husband and I last visited NO, we walked onto Bourbon St., and as we turned the corner, the first person we saw was standing on the corner in a doorway, and he was painted completely silver. And for no reason that we could tell. Just very... errrr... interesting. Just the hanging-out-while-I'm-silver guy. But hey, it passes the time.

Did he have a funnel on his head and was he accompanied by a cowardly lion and a scarecrow?

LOL! That made me laugh out loud.

We just watched that movie with the girls, and there was a special feature on the making of the movie. Apparently the first guy cast as tin man was colored with some kind of powder that he inhaled, it poisoned him, he almost died, and while he was recovering they recast the role. How's that for cold? The guy in the movie was colored with a paste.

I did wonder when I saw the guy if that could possibly be healthy. Reminded me of Goldfinger. But then, perhaps if you're painting yourself silver, you're not particularly granolaish in the first place.

I swear I think I have seen that guy on the tube! He is like the Silver Cowboy or something. Usually is out on Bourbon Street playing guitar for money. (of course, it might be that the one guy didn't trademark his silver look and someone else ripped him off lol).

There is just something amazing about that town. Somehow, I am sure it will survive!

(btw - didn't TALK to my friend, but called cell - immediately to voicemail...then called house several times and finally got through - only long enough to hear a familar voice and it went dead - so at least I know their house must be standing and they are there! That is something! THey live outside New Orleans on the "west" side of where the storm hit, so I just keep hoping they made it through with minimal damage. But, as I said with Toon - alive and well is the most important thing!)

That's great Laura! I'm sure you will still feel better when you can actually talk to them, but at least it's something.

Sorry, just realized this is just a little repetitiously redundant.
:rotfl2: ROTFL! Roll on the floor laughing! ;)

You know I can't keep up with y'all, but I had to compliment you on the "Nothing" subject matter for today. We all need a smile on a day like today and Rash, the $350 rides and the free rides  , Calypso's google search and the silver guy did it for me :goodvibes :sunny: :teeth:

Thanks all!
