Nothing Thread

Probably where all those other cases went. No wonder you don't remember!

The only thing I can say for sure is that I don't have it. :sad2: :guilty:

Good morning! It's Sunday morning and all the other Toons are still asleep. Nothing like a quiet Sunday morning with just me, my coffee, and the DIS. Just sitting here half awake, half asleep, feeling groovy.

Slow down, you type too fast.
Gotta make this reply last.
Nothing to say, but Hanname.
Reading the Dis and feeling groovy!

Hey I'M supposed to be the bad Lyricist, I am suing you for false impersonation! Well, how about instead of that I write a bad Poem?

Stopping By The Dis Boards On a Rainy Morning (It's supposed to be the same rhyme scheme as Robert Frost's Stopping By The Woods on a Snowy Evening)

Whose boards are these?
I think I know
The Disney Nuts
We come and go
We all take turns in posting here
Tooneric, lllovell and Jean Joe

There's Colorado Belle and Rash
We're pals we hardly ever clash
Greenban, wtpclc
Postin' away, makin' a splash.

LeftCoaster and Calypso too
Are part of our whack pack it's true
Mike in FL, TW1
Both add to our DisBoard fun.

These boards are fun, and so are we,
A great break from reality,
So glad we all joined DVC,
So glad we all joined DVC!

<TABLE borderColor=#ffffff cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=2 width=95 bgColor=#ffffff borderColorLight=#000000 border=1><TBODY><TR><TD noWrap align=middle>DIS Boards DVC</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

*sniff sniff*

you two are going to make me cry.... :teeth:

Must be that Sunday morning quiet time getting to you! lol

Off to my niece's birthday party in a bit, so a little party with the family which should be nice. Always something going on. :)

Have a good one!

Ahhh, Sunday. It's been a brutal last couple weeks. Glad to see everyone keeping this thread alive. I've been mostly lurking lately - brain's too fried to contribute anything worthwhile. I didn't even have any Yuengling last nite . Hmmmm - Yuengling and cornflakes? ::yes::

Taking my daughter to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory later today. Then the pool. Then whatever else she wants. Trying to squeeze in as much quality daddy-daughter time as possible before all hell breaks loose around here. My wife seems to be in the homestretch, so it could be anyday now. If I pull a greenban, that's the reason.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Here's hoping for a fast and easy foaling!

I've got a saddle blanket ready for Rash Jr., or is it Junior Rash!

btw pulling a greenban (CR) is a copyrighted phrase, and may only be used with the express written permission of the copyright holder, with the exception, of short citations used in scientific journals, and of course for Election 2008!

Neigh'd I say more?

(for Tooneric: Ribbit!)

We miss you Rash, but I would say that we call all understand. (I was going to say we miss you like a BAD RASH, but, that isn't exactly the sentiment I was going for :p )

When you get a chance, let me know about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. My 5 year old wants to see it, but sometimes Tim Burton can be too dark for my tastes. (I am doing the same thing with my 3 year old right now - - - giving him extra attention, etc. The 5 year old is overjoyed about the baby coming, but the 3 year old is not so sure, so I am making sure he knows there will still be plenty of time for him, etc).

lol @ your Copyright Tony. Do you get $0.01 every time we use that phrase? It might be a great way to finance your next trip to WDW :)

Sleepy today. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008_ZNxdm414YYUS' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_11_5.gif' alt='Wake Up' border=0></a> so at some point, its going to be nap time in the closet!

Happy Monday everyone.

Back from a lovely weekend at the coast. Happy to read everyone is doing well and we are still waiting for the new foal. Rash...hope everything goes well. Both mine were premature, so you've already made it further than I did!

Ribbit!

I'm kneedeep in work (get it? "Kneedeep"? as in a frog noise?), but couldn't stay away. Glad to see the Rash is back (how often can you say that with a straight face?). All horsing around (I'm full of em today!), good luck to the Rash family but don't be a stranger!

Idratherbeinwdw: That was a wonderfully bad poem! Sorry if I stepped on your lyricist toes, but I considered it as more of a tribute to your bad songs than a challenge. Sort of like when Billy Joel sang "A Hard Day's Night." Did I crawfish enough yet? Or should I grovel some more? Gee, you look swell today! Well, it seems llovell approves of our efforts at least.

Well, off to lunch and maybe to see Chocolate Factory tonight. How was it, Tony? Oops, I mean Rash?

No trip reports from our happy campers???????

Well, since you asked...

The trip was great except for one thing: I brought some pancake mix in a plastic pitcher and decided it would be easy to just pour some water in and shake the batter. Memo to me: next time, make sure the lid is on good! Yes it's true, our travel trailer had pancake batter dripping from floor to ceiling. I can laugh now, but at the time I wasn't too happy.

The kids had a great time playing on the beach (notice I said on...not in. Have you ever felt the water temperature on the Oregon coast?). Went to a huge air museum in Tillamook that once housed blimps during WWII -- very interesting. And of course, had to stop at the Tillamook Cheese Factory for cheese samples and ice cream cones (and no, it's not cheese flavored!).

Campground was a state park and very nice except for the car alarms that kept going off in the middle of the night. Ah, the peaceful outdoors!!!

The only thing that would have made the trip better was a big 'ol chunk of liverwurst... :teeth:

Almost forgot: Liverwurst!

It's what's for dinner.

I always appreciate bad lyrics and bad poems. I am really hoping for some bad poetry tomorrow for my birthday Tooneric, but don't want to put you on the spot! :earboy2:

Carrie wont be back for the whole week I think, but it appears that Calaypso made it back all in one piece. :Pinkbounc

Great trip report, Calypso! Sounds like things could have gone batter, uhm, I mean better! :rotfl:

Happy Birthweek, llovell! Here in toontown I like to celebrate the whole week. DW isn't crazy about the idea, but it was a compromise instead of birthmonth. I"m sure the Bad Poet can come up with something for you. And I would hope the Bad Lyricist would chime in as well.

I promise, the only reason I am laughing so hard is that I have done the EXACT same thing myself lol with one of those mix in the bottle pancake mixes while camping!!! (only, lucky for me, I was outside, so the stove and myself got covered, not much else...oh - and I ruined the pot of coffee which takes 45 minutes to perk on a coleman stove...so I was in a bit of hot water about that lol). I also did that recently with calamine lotion, but I am claiming pregnant brain on that one :teeth: I figure take it while I can lol

:cheer2: Very excited Tooneric!! I would be so very honored! :worship:

True confession time. Back in the days, I used to host "Melrose and Midori Margaritas". Friends would come over for dinner, margaritas, and watch Melrose Place. One night, I didn't realize that the pitcher on the lbender had not been totally screwed on. So, when I pulled it off, the bottom came out and the whole pitcher of margaritas, ended up on the counter in a slushy mess. Thankfully, the counter was spotless so, we fixed the pitcher and scooped the contents back into the blender. I may not cry over spilled milk but I'll darn well cry over spilled margaritas! And I think I just cemented my position of being part of the liquor cabinet and Secretary Of Fun. :wave2:

These stories are great, how funny that so many of us have them! Here's mine: About a year ago I took the orange juice out of the fridge. Generally I check to see if the top is tight before I shake it but I forgot and guess what? There was Orange juice EVERYWHERE. I only shook it once, but I swear there must have been atomic force in that one shake. Orange juicet was on the ceiling, on the floor, on the counter, on the blinds, on the windowsill. And of course all over me. My older daughter who was 19 at the time witnessed this, and we both got a huge belly laugh over the whole thing. It was so funny it was almost--but maybe not quite--worth the mess.

Looks like I might be the first one this morning to wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY lllovell  . I wish my brain would kick into gear to give tooneric and idratherbeinwdw a run in the bad poem, bad lyrics department but I must be still too sleepy.

Thanks for all the smiles and ways you all can brighten a day on the dis for the normally lurking but laughing contingent.

Happy Birthday, lllovell! You rock!

Thank you MLK!!! My 5 year old told me this morning that 37 is not old *whew* so apparently, I am safe for another year!

ok - these stories are cracking me up....orange juice - ewwww talk about your big huge mess! lol @ the S.O.F. - without a doubt, scooping the mix back into the blender confirms your appointment!

 <--- Laura today :teeth:
